Not that sure about this one pluMmet.  I love eating breakfast and would not last from eating three hours before bedtime til lunch the next day. It IMO is not for me. I have to eat because of my diabetes.   Good video for those who can do it.

Hey VM, what type DM do you have? Type 1 or 2? If type 2, you can start with a short IM period of 6-8 hours. Make sure you get some proteins and fat for that evening meal. Just see how you feel. If it is still pretty hard on you, then switch to a high fat diet SLOWLY, over time which allows your body to adjust to the diet. Then, slowly, increase the time between. You can even do a morning meal of fats and proteins and then not eat till 5 pm of the same. I know a few people who started that way. I do IM daily. Eat at 5 pm and not eat again till 6-7 am next day. Regular eating times during the day. make sure you get proteins, as they will convert to sugar as needed, but at a slower rate than grains/starches/sugars. Hope this helps.

Cheers and to your health

Not to mention there is tons of info on using juicing on correcting that

Andrew and Carol West, who run a health retreat in Spain, say the huge financial drain on the NHS caused by the obesity epidemic gripping Britain can be eased by changing people’s approach to food.

They claim type two diabetes, which is caused by the presence of too much sugar in the blood and normally affects adults in their forties, can be cleansed by highly nutritious meals and juices, lots of water and gentle exercise.

A recent study found that 2.9million Brits now suffer from type two diabetes, costing the NHS a staggering £11.9billion and causing 24,000 deaths a year.

Another 850,000 people are thought to have undiagnosed diabetes and the condition is affecting younger age groups due to the typical western diet being high in fat, animals

Andrew and Carol were both overweight and suffering from poor health when they started researching the effects of diet on the human body seven years ago.

Andrew, 48, had spent 16 years with Leicestershire Police, reaching the rank of inspector before being forced to retire on health grounds. He suffered from such severe stomach reflux that he would wake up at night struggling to breath and had a stress-related breakdown.

Carol, 46, was a nursery nurse who also had stomach issues, so they tried having a vegetable juice every morning for breakfast and within a month felt better and had lost weight.

They started a clinic in a house they owned in Spain, offering a three-day detox package using juices every morning and three sessions with Carol.

These were so popular that they decided to open Obsidian Health Retreat in a five-bedroom place in March last year, so their clients could stay with them, before moving into a 26-bedroom former hotel in Benissa, near Alicante, in February this year, employing 26 staff and offering counselling, daily walks, yoga, tai chi and zumba classes, and juicing and cooking demonstrations.

Their customers are mainly British but also come from America and Australia, with a seven-day package starting at £500 for a shared room. The daily weight loss for clients on their juicing diet is 1.1lbs per person.

Andrew said: “Research has shown that if diabetes sufferers change their diets, within a few days they will see a massive drop in blood sugar levels.

“We were suspicious of this at first until we saw it happen.

“People with high blood pressure and joint problems also see great results within a week.”

Father-of-three Steve Booker was able to reverse his type two diabetes and stop taking medication after just four days at Obsidian.

Steve, 46, was diagnosed with the condition two years ago and told he would have to take drugs to control it for the rest of his life.

In running his own training company in the construction industry, based in Tonbridge, Kent, he had a bad diet and was suffering from stress.

He went to the retreat for 10 days in July this year with wife Kandy after getting fed up of friends telling him he looked pale and unwell.

Despite being sceptical of life coaching and counselling, he threw himself into and was amazed to have lost a stone and a half in weight after 10 days.

He said: “I have tried extreme diets before and it felt like you were starving yourself, it was a constant battle.

“The juicing diet was a great catalyst and they gave the support you need to change your mindset without it being a drudge.”

Steve has lost three and a half stone since starting his new diet and his wife has lost a stone and a half.

Andrew said: “Our aim is to show people that there is another way. It is not to make people vegans, it is to get them off medication.

“If people leave and take just part of our diet with them they will improve their lives. Juice for breakfast provides the nutrition the body needs, and things like cheese and meat become treats.

“We were never meant to eat meat two or three times a day, particularly poor quality meat.”

The couple are now looking to open another retreat in the south-west of England to cater for people not wanting to fly to Spain and have also set their sights on opening a third retreat in the US.

Thanks pluMmet. The very things stripped out of the western diet

are the very things that support health. As our food is continued

to be toyed with and literally modified from what it once was, it

is this end product that is designed to introduce sickness and

dis-ease to so many folks. The chemicalization of our foods was

not done by accident. The FDA and big Pharma are in bed together,

and hardly anyone noticed.

"So - all I can say is that cellular homeostasis is the key. Something I've been saying for years.  We live and die at the cellular level - healthy cells leads to healthy tissue, which leads to healthy organs. Just makes sense to me. Never underestimate the power of trillions of little molecules.  The body is a fantastic machine that can protect, detect, repair and replace at the cellular level as long as it has the proper balance of these molecules."  (Tankdude)

Calories in calories out. Stay properly aligned, (biomechanically), water, water, water and more water, eat right and light,(check out Alcat / cell science) exercise, (use it or lose it) avoid toxins and have a positive mental outlook.

And of course,

Come on RV.

What kind of sandwich isn't too fattening?

HALF a sandwich!

Applies to everything.  You're welcome!  ;)

Yea pretty good. :bravo:

And while on that subject. It is okay to eat the whole sandwhich but far better to spred it over several hours - half now and half later.

When really wanting to lose a few pounds in a hurry try your regular exercise routine  and spark your physiology by adding 20 minutes on the bike before the next meal or bed time. It does not take much on the second exercise routine.
