When did you join DV, and do you think it's changed any?

I joined DV back in 2007. Back then if you wanted information on how the Dinar was progressing, Adam seemed to be the guy with the most information that made any sense.

Since joining I have worked about 4 different jobs. One stretch of unemployment lasted over a year!  This Dinar Speculation & this site has helped me to keep the HOPE alive that someday I COULD MAYBE, be free of debt and live the rest of my life on a horse farm.

Up until recently, you never heard a thing on the news regarding Iraq which was disheartening, but ISIS gave the media something to talk about concerning Iraq.  So just hearing them talking about Iraq made me feel better about this investment.

I think the site has changed a lot since 2007.  There's forums now that have nothing at all to do with the Dinar. I didn't join this sight to listen to people bash the current President and his administration.  I don't like all the name calling and think it has tarnished how a lot of people think of the Dinar Network.

I'm a professional truck driver.  I visit this site everyday to see what's new, and to see if we are any closer to an RV... that's all.

Lately Adam has been VERY excited about current events in Iraq.  I get emails and text messages quite often now abut joining the VIP Group and the OSI.  Although I'm already a VIP.  It's starting to feel like a hussle.

I just want the email and text message that says it's time to cash in!

By the way... whenever DinarVets talks about what good news there is going on in Iraq, I try to see if there is any mention of it at this site: Iraq-businessnews.com

Only been a member here for about a year but, was a lurker or frequented the site about 7 mos. prior to that and I have no complaints.

 

It's a great place to come for Dinar info as well as lots of of info and interesting conversations. No other dinar site like it! If you don't prefer all of the other topics it's simple... you just do like you do and pop in to check out the dinar news and pop back out. If you like the other stuff, then it is there for anyone to read, comment or add to.

 

...and I personally like it that way!

I joined January 28th, 2011.  I was very active my 1st year, but have been very inactive the past 3 years due to a lot of negative nellies who turned this place into a bullying zone.  However I've started to pop back in here as it looks like a lot of the bullies have faded away, and the sites where I have been active are either filled up with sheeple who only want to worship the resident Guru and can't stand independent thought, or people who have agendas and try to link their agendas to the RV.

I originally joined in feb 2010 as snowglobe had some login issues and returned some time later as snowglobe4 then  snowglobe7 due to login issues. 

 

We have had good and bad come and go.....as with most websites. 

 

 We have newshounds not gurus. We have a lobster tank for those that feel we dinarians need saving. We have the rumor mill for those who prefer to not dig into the news. 

 

We have whatever you are needing for the day....but most of all we have support. No matter what you need you will find a friend here who will help you with spiritual needs, health questions, recipes and well just whatever you need. This is what DV is all about. Yea we like to discuss the dinar occasionally as well...lol

I have held dinar since 2004 and I joined DV in November 2009.  In 2009, I got tired of Med and his group so I came over here.  I shared information from a close friend in 2010 that nothing was happening until 2012 and got slammed big time, so I walked away.  I needed a break.  In 2012, I was told nothing would happen for 2-3 years but this time I kept my mouth shut and here we are, 2-3 years later still waiting on the RV.  The good news is that I am hearing that we are close.  Yeah, I know, DUH, all that you have to do is read the news.  Got it but I heard back in October 2014 that there will be nothing until March 2015.  Time will tell.  I hope that the RV is "sooner" than later because I am ready for this ride to be DONE!

 

Overall, I feel that DV has gotten better with age.  I have met some good people here and I hope to stay in contact with them once this is all said and DONE!

I've been here at DV since May 2011. Ive had IQD since April 2005. One constant through out has been an excellent resource for alternative news sites for current events. There continues to be the best news miners that dig out and share what's going on.

Another constant is, it is a Great study on human behavior!! it's been sad and amusing at the same time observing the different ways impatience can be displayed. For me it's being able to find appreciation in whatever my situation is at the moment.

Another constant is Adams vision and steadfast provision of this site and overall opportunity. It has morphed over time from the variety of perspectives of its members. It has Always been a guide post in this quest of understanding these events since 2003.

So....it has changed over time without compromise in its scope of opportunity for all who come here, when we play by the rules.

Bought in 2006, joined DV a few years or so after that. DV has changed. It was the premier site, got attacked by all the gurus and bully's out there, with multiple incarnations. No doubt trying to bring DV down a notch. Jealous bastages. Then they cleaned up this town and it is the premier site once again. During the down times I learned to research other sites like The CBI, Iraqi News, Alsumaria News, NINA National Iraqi News Agency , yes even Breitling Reports, so I could distinguish on my own what stories were credible or not, with some independent degree of certainty. Best to defend the less informed members against the bully's with facts instead of Schmidt on a stick. This stage on DV growth chart is great. Other peoples opinions, pro or con, are accepted or disagreed with, with respect. This is the cool thing as this allows us to read the reports and decide for ourselves.

You joined back in 2007?  Wow, I'd call you a lucky man.  Many of us wondered in the wilderness for years being misled by so many.  I didn't make it here until 2010.  We've seen many come and go, even picked up a stray cat or pig along the way.  Lost a few good folks too.  Great site.  I laughed when I saw the mention of a "hussle".  Flute music started playing ..... "do the hussle".  Adam has been fairly transparent about being able to give good service to those in the VIP group and wants to keep the membership down to a manageable level.  BUT every time he closes it people are crying at the down, "please let me in".  So when it is open for new member he will tell you about it.  It's similar to a restaurant, the server will always tell you about the special or the market catch of the day.  You don't have to order it !  But if you pay attention, no one is trying to over sale you on the fresh catch, it is being offered to every table in the house.  Because it's the best or only offered for a limited time.  You may already know, without a doubt that you only want the pork chop but some times the special really is special and I personally would highly suggest the pie 

I started buying in 2004.  My first mil cost $675.  So I've made money already... The cost of DV has been repaid many times over in the education, experience and friendships

I joined in 2010,  and love this site.  As for a hustle, in my opinion...no way!!  Adam has spent thousands and thousands of his own dollars flying all over the world for meetings, researching the best options for post RV, lining up many professionals to work with us, and I am sure he had to pay all of them retainers to have them on standby.  So we pay fairly nominal amounts to avail ourselves of his expertise and I dont begrudge him one cent of that.  I wish I had the money to get everything offered, but I dont. What I do have is the knowledge that I will be able to protect whatever I may reap thanks to Adam and this site.

7-18-11 joined,  Bought my dinars in 9-10-10...found this site, what a roller coster this site has been,...has some heated topic that got some people banned...and others timed out until you played nice...lol, then had some topics that are still going on after  a year later, one thing that has been constent is ....Grannies long arm of the law  . there are so many topic that will keep your attention.special thanks to All the mods,one thing that I love most about this site is...if there is a post that has some or all is misleading of false ..this site calls you out and ask for a link...or my favorite part of this site is other will find the artical and post the link .   this ends soon
