A source in the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan region revealed that the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will visit the city of Arbil on Monday and will meet with the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani.

 

The source said that due to the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi up Monday at four o'clock in the afternoon to the Kurdistan region, noting that the prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Barzani will be greeted upon his arrival to the region.

 

The source said the prime minister Haider al-Abadi will meet at five o'clock this afternoon with the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, adding that the meeting would discuss relations between Erbil and Baghdad and the Peshmerga recent victories in the war against "Daash."

 

The visit of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to the Kurdistan region at a time when al-Abadi plans to visit Turkey on Thursday and meet with senior Turkish officials.
