When Does Too Long Without an RV Become Too Long?

It's Christmas.  Another Christmas without the longed for RV.  For many, this has been a 10 year ride.  For my people, they've been involved HEAVILY since 2009.  There have been 10,000 RV calls.  Every time a guru calls for the big RV, the dinar sales go up.  Hope springs eternal in the heart of every dinar speculator.  I get that....kinda.  Well, to be perfectly honest,  I don't get it at all, but that's for you people to figure out.  Here's my discussion point.  Will there ever be a time when you've said "enough is enough", and bail out?  12 years, 15 years, 20 years from now are you still listening to RV chanting gurus?  Will you pass your dinars onto your kids, for them to try and sort out?  When is enough....enough?  Regardless of the new PM, the conditions in iraq are not good, according to the IMF.  Oil is down, the CBI reserves are dropping, they can't repay Kuwait.  When, if ever, is enough?  No facts presented here, just my opinion.  Of course I have been 100% correct on no RV, and that my brothers is FACT!

For me personally, the answer is no. I won't "bail out" simply because I didn't invest that much into this thing and I won't become a millionaire because of it But, my hope is that I will be better off if it does indeed happen.

I do know that things look better now than they ever have since this new GOI came into play and they seem to be getting things done at an expedited rate when compared to what has happened over the last 10 years so, i guess you could say that my hope for an RV has actually grown, however, I do keep in mind first and foremost that it is STILL a speculative investment (if you will) and therefore I am not hung up on getting ritch over night.

Good morning ewingm, perhaps their many here in DV that are frustrated with this investment and many who are on the verge of throwing in the towel. Like many investments, they are speculative and require months and even years of patience and money. Some of these investments pan out and some do not but for those who are constantly on the edge of their seat waiting for this to pop will go crazy and loose sleep and maybe loose a lot more. I dont know know if it will RV today, tomorrow or next year but I believe in my decision to remain until the end no matter what. I do know this, I am able to cash my Dinar in today and perhaps break even which is not bad considering those who have lost hundreds, thousands or even millions in bad stock pics or swampland in....wherever.

Nothing is guaranteed in this life except death and taxes, so with that in mind I figure that with what I have invested in this makes a good RRR for me. I go on with my life, and nurture this investment as I do with the rest and if one day it pops, great, if not then yes my kids will have a chance at seeing this come to fruit. I have not been in this as long as most here and yes I feel the ups and downs like you all do but betting my life on a RV, NEVER. I will never bet my tranquility for ANYTHING and go on with my daily life and try to enjoy to the fullest.

This is just me and my 2 cents my friend.

So far, good answers, in my opinion.  I would have one thing to add however.  It seems to be increasing more risky to sell back your dinars without a threat of losing your dinars to scammers.  Even valid buy sites have more and more restrictions in order for you to exchange.  Can you imagine what it will be like if EVERYONE has to exchange if a redenomination is announced?  Not good, my friend.  But here's my point.  If your dinars outlive you, are your inheritors knowledgable enough to know how to redeem them for dollars.  They may very well choose to do this than hold onto your dinars for another decade.  Leaving them dinars is NOT the same as leaving them dollars that they can spend.  Many will want to exchange them for dollars.  Will they know enough to not get scammed in mailing their dinars to buyers, either on e-bay or private or through websites.?

When are you going to tell the truth ewingm ?

You say your here to protect your delusional elderly relatives who bought dinar

But this last quote of your talking about inheriting dinars , is how I had you figured from the beginning

Your worried about inheriting iraqi dinars from your elderly relatives and you wanted green backs

Forget about it

You could of earned the inheritance your were going to get in the amount of time you spent here complaint about what they did with their own money and calling them delusional and stupid

Now maybe they won't leave you anything

Nope,  I'm not in any line to inherit any dinars, thank goodness.  Because if I did, I would immediately sell them for cut rate prices, just to ensure I'd get a buyer quickly.  But people WILL inherit dinars.  No question about it.  Do your inheritors have knowledge about this, or will they learn the hard way?   It is for certain that we came into this world with nothing and we will go out the same way.  Somebody will receive your earthly possessions, including your dinars.  If you haven't considered this scenario, it might benefit your family if they knew what to do with them.  But I'm confident that you all have already considered this possibility and have imstructed your heirs on just what to do with them in the evnt of your tragic demise  JMO

If it truly comes down to me passing my Dinar holdings along to my son, I will attach a note directing him to the Tank.......I'm sure you'll still be here.     FYI.....he's way more sarcastic than me.   ;)

I will be glad to assist your son in any dinar selling endeavor he chooses. I don't know the future of course, but if you are still holding tightly to your dinar 20 years from now, you might just consider the speculation didn't pay out, and save your children the hassle.  In other words.....clean up your own mess!  Just my opinion of course.  No facts presented!

Don't you worry, Snowglobe.  After Shabs bites the dust, his heirs will sell off those dinars faster than a cat off a hot tin roof.  You know the old saying, "a bird in the hand.........".

What's his is his.  He can do whatever he wants....it's not my place to dictate his actions.  Can you say the same?   <_<

Ewingm you should go make fun of all those people who bought gold at 1600 dollars an ounce

And tell them how smart you are because you didn't

I bet there's a million other things that people lost money on you could go tell them all how smart you are because you didn't buy into the scam

The same old song and dance, Ewingm you got to stop the doom and gloom, it's all in how you look at things. You have to be a reverse pumper and just to make you feel better I am going to order another $1,000,000 dinar....man you have an affect on me. If I go broke, it will be because of your reverse psychology, you no Texans don't like being told that we're wrong.....you know this ! LLYDT LOL :-)

The dinars are like the "Alamo".  Everybody who stayed got wiped out.  They were brave to the end, but the end was nasty.  I am the voice crying in the wilderness.  The funny thing is once I step away from the dinar forum, I am in the majority!  On the forum I am the minority.  But my majority represents about 99.9999999999% of the rest of the world!  So, I don't feel too bad.  If I didn't keep posting discussion questions, ole Dontlop would drive everyone crazy, so I'm doing you all a service.  I expect to be compensated for my efforts.  Just not in dinars please.
