Two to three years ago, I heard that the Kuwaiti Dinar when it revalued, took ten days to appear from its release date. Assuming that the information is accurate, Wednesday November 5th would be the 10th day. This would be based upon the release date of Sunday October 26. I surmise that the process would be very similar and possibly take less time due to the advancement in today's technology. I'm not sure how to research this and thought I would share with the forum.

The only thing people burn in hell for is rejecting JESUS CHRIST as their LORD and SAVIOR....everything else JESUS paid for on the cross....that is the "sin unto death" spoken of in the New Testament. 

 

Just as you cannot earn your way into heaven, you cannot earn your way into hell....It is God's Grace and Grace alone that allows you into Heaven, and that Grace is imparted fully in the death, burial, and resurrection of JESUS and nothing else.  So if you reject JESUS, your "sins stand against you" and your name is "stricken from the Book of Life", thus you must pay the price for those sins which results in being separated from God in hell for eternity.

All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of GOD, thus we should all be in line to go to hell, but if not for JESUS we all would...but I agree with you in that there will be some who have rejected Him and have lived a life that will certainly put them at the head of the line.  Just as there is a hierarchy in heaven, there is also one in hell.

You will know a tree by its fruit JESUS said, and an evil tree cannot bear good fruit and a good tree cannot bear evil fruit....so yes you are correct, by their fruit you can know if they have accepted the LORD and are living for HIM...Just as by a person's love, JESUS said they will know you are my disciples.

 

However, when JESUS said, "In that day they will say LORD LORD..." He was referring to those who said "Didn't I cast out demons in your name" and "Didn't I do this and didn't I do that....."  They are  those who think they can enter heaven because of their own works and do not rely only on what CHRIST has done. 

 

Therefore, CHRIST never knew them and they never knew HIM.

Keylime, Again Thank You for the good dose of apologetics. I am keenly aware of what Christ stated as I offered the verse in the first place as a reductio ad absurdum. Simply put, if those who 'thought' they possessed the Blessed Hope due to doing good works are found wanting, then those who make it a priority to make the lives of others harder for their selfish gain and sport, will in fact burst Hell wide open. My post and this thread was dedicated to discuss the topic at hand. If you desire to debate the finer points of Theology may I suggest you start a topic and I'll meet you there.
