With all the other new notes showing this was probably predictable.  I know that I have seen a few  articles stating that this was going to happen.

So now they have a $43.00 note for daily use. It was needed. If you want Iraq to dedollarize you need plenty of currency available.

The people must want to use it and have faith in it. If we see this the market rate may increase in value. Obviously a stable Iraq would help too.

I think this is only in the planning stage. You know how anything in Iraq goes. They haven't even formed a committee yet !

BAGHDAD / Source News / revealed a member of the Finance Committee in Parliament Najiba Najib is scheduled to issue a new Iraqi currency of the class 50 000 dinars.

She told / Source News / day anticipated that the currency will write it in Arabic, Kurdish and English.

 Najib quoted the central bank governor as saying that this coin will be issued early next year in addition to the category of 25 000 dinars in its new form, which includes a picture of a Kurdish woman.

 Najib indicated that the bank plans to remove three zeroes or during the next four years in order to raise the value of the Iraqi dinar.
