Parliamentary Finance Committee: Council of Ministers will discuss the draft budget next Tuesday

BAGHDAD / obelisk: confirmed head of the parliamentary finance committee interim Attorney Magda al-Tamimi, on Thursday, said that the Council of Ministers will discuss at its special session scheduled to be held on Saturday, the draft budget law for 2014, likely to be discussed at the regular session of the Council, which will be held on Tuesday 13 October month.

Tamimi said in an interview for "obelisk" "The Ministry of Finance has not been completed so far and the amount of scheduling expenses projected revenues for the remaining months of the current year, despite the effort made by the Minister of Finance Agency together with experts in the circle of the general budget."

She added that "the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers to be held next Saturday will not be allocated to discuss the draft budget law," likely to "be put up after the completion of the required financial tables during the regular session of the Council next Tuesday."

She Tamimi that "the parliamentary Finance Committee in constant contact with the Ministry of Finance on the budget and have all their information, so if the draft law was submitted to the House of Representatives will vote it easily."

The Chairperson of the Finance Committee parliamentary temporary Magda Tamimi has confirmed in a statement for "obelisk", on Wednesday, said that "the Minister of Finance Agency Mohammed Sudani told her that the committee for preparation of schedules budget in 2014 is working to reduce the amount of the deficit to the lowest level it's been canceled a number of doors expenditures that can be dispensed with such allocations hospitality and Alaivadat and unnecessary expenses that do not affect the financial and economic march of the country. having an out if they DON'T discuss it?

 

Or better, if they have no intentions of discussing

it, for whatever reason?
