Thanks Chess...Don't surprise me in 04' out of Alasad a Female Marine ''Gunney'' that rotated escorts for our convoys had the top slot for CK's. Good lookin' and built like a ''Brick House''...She'd light'em up in a Heart Beat...if the on coming vehicles just gave her the impression they weren't going to pull over, off the side of the road. If they stopped in their Lane of the road, she'd squeeze the 50 an start walkin' down the lane about 200 yards in front of the vehicle. I heard her say several times when we went through Al Qazem....She'd had cleared ''The Rules of Engagement'' for ''Black Opps''...''WOOP''...

Was like what a pointless stupid thread until I googleed women figher pilots and saw UAE first female fighter pilot bombing isis. Should have givena  bit more background. WOmen fighter pilots don't are probably easier than women in the field for hygene reasons as well as women and men not working in close quarters in a warezone and all that other stuff but what happens if this women is shot down and taken captive. We don't negotiate for the most part for men taken captive, if a women is being raped and tortured are we going to agree to prisoner releases and things like that because the country can't stomach a women being in that situation like they can a man? I know its UAE and not USA but just saying.

I can only reply from personal USAF experience, though I know I speak for many female rated military officers. We've been in the cockpit for decades. Some of us have been shot down and were recovered throughout those many years.... though I suspect in these times of internet a hungry press and the availability of data transmission from captors themselves, if that happens in current times, it would likely be all over the news.   No one, man or woman climbs that ladder thinking they would be shot down.... (though we've all been trained well for that event)... And to be sure that argument floated around for years before women finally engaged combat by that means. And I would say now what I said then... it is abhorrent that any human would torture another and no  man or woman should ever have to suffer that fate. However, as the UAE Major notes, we all have a responsibility, and some of us choose to answer it from within the cockpit of  Fighter aircraft.... :peace:

Amen Rayzur...  :peace: Luv it.. :)

The only problem with women is that they forgot to install a "Shut Off Switch". Women lay in bed at night & can not sleep due to problems on their minds!

LOL

Men do not suffer from this illness! ;)

Oh contra buddy... getting easier and easier to do and doing it now... lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!... wax on... wax off....  ;)

The term "I can't believe I missed the target, I feel like such a boob" actually originated from a male fighter pilot

lol

For some reason I could always hit that fly in the urinal in Amsterdam Airport upon arrival.... the departing flights were the ones where I occurred the misjudgment....

Schiphol...Nice airport
