Yellen says labor market still has not completely recovered.  Data suggests economic activity is expanding at a moderate pace.  Fed will use target range for rate policy rather than a single point.  Rates could fluctuate within the target range.  Rate hikes could come sooner and be more rapid, or come later and be slower, depending on data.  Fed expects modest volatility in  Funds rate.  Committee comfortable with considerable time phrasing.  Outlook was little changed from June meeting.

NFL Players Association appeals Ray Rice’s indefinite suspension.  Rice knocked out his then-fiancee while in a casino elevator in February.  Nadita’s opinion is that these NFL players carry a lot of influence with their fans and I am glad NFL is not taking their actions lightly.  They are no difference than common people.  Hopefully other players will consider their act and conduct wisely as it will tarnish their career, not to mention all the sponsors.

From Dinar Land : From international forum, Iraqi government, battle on the ground, airstrikes to fight the cancerous ISIS.  All these efforts are aimed to fight ISIS which successfully established their territory in Iraq and Syria by stealing large amounts of heavy arms from Iraq and seizing money from banks and controlling areas rich with crude oil.  ISIS has become a formidable entity in the heart of Arab with their brutality and barbaric act.

Okane suspects ISIL’s barbaric and brutality will backfire, they have contributed in bringing the world powers together to fight it from Sunnis, Sunni countries including Wahhabi Saudi Arabia now fear ISIL may represent grave danger against their ruler and governments.

"From Rumor Land : TD says Iraq might adopt Turkish model which likely will be at the end of first quarter 2015."

Guess what the "Turkish model" is!!

A REDENOMINATION!    A LOP!

A single 25000 IQD note will be worth 25, and will need to be traded in for NEW CURRENCY, which will have a new value.

If that new value is $3 and change, we will have approximately tripled our money (for those who bought at $1000 per million).

The Turkish model is discussed at length on this site.

Of course it's not what we want, but I always say hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Fits their mold and consideration of women perfectly!

Worried as to what was said above. My favorite adult beverage, Drambuie, has
