Fear of Another 9/11 Type Attack as Intel Reports Reveal 11 Libyan Airliners Have Gone Missing
 



With the anniversary of the September 11th attacks right around the corner, intelligence officials are sharing some disturbing news about commercial jets that have gone missing in Libya. From Bill Gertz at the Washington Free Beacon:
 

Intelligence reports of the stolen jetliners were distributed within the U.S. government over the past two weeks and included a warning that one or more of the aircraft could be used in an attack later this month on the date marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks against New York and Washington, said U.S. officials familiar with the reports.
 
The aircraft were reportedly taken in late August following the takeover of Tripoli International Airport, located about 20 miles south of the capital, by Libyan Dawn.
 
Al Jazeera television reported in late August that western intelligence reports had warned of terror threats to the region from 11 stolen commercial jets.

 
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a failure to act in Libya exacerbate an already precarious national security outlook.

• President Obama destabilized Libya by removing strongman Muammar Gaddafi, and  violated the law by authorizing military operations in Libya. The lack of political will securing the post-war nation has led to terrorist organizations over-running Libya.
• In Benghazi, despite requesting extra security multiple times, Christopher Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty and Sean Smith were murdered by the terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia. As Congressional testimony proves, no rescue attempt was mounted by the President or Secretary of State.
• Shortly after the evacuation of our embassy in Tripoli last month, radical Islamists took over the U.S.’ diplomatic compound and were even seen having a pool party.

The national tragedy that occurred on September 11th, 2001 is still etched in the minds of Americans, and any such threat to the country’s security should be taken with the utmost seriousness.
The main priority at this point for the U.S. government should be to pool its available intelligence and military resource together and find these missing jets.

Hopfully Baghdad and Syria aren't the targets these idiots in Isis are not nice people

Getting them clear over here would be a challenge

But they won't be full of passengers so the air forces around the world won't have any problem taking them down

They would need to fuel them up somewhere and then take off from somewhere

Someone might of stolen them for training terrorists

Who knows what those American and British citizens over there are being trained to do

They can come back home and wait a year or two then they just do it

That's a picture of the ones filled with moth balls.....outlived their usefulness apparently.

I hate to say it but the United States of America is ripe for any sort of terrorist attack, anywhere, anytime!

The only thing that America did to prepare is to put in place actions to RE-ACT to an attack.

If you travel the world you see police carrying UZI Machine guns in airports, special attention at immigration points, special exams of baggage incoming & out going, border crossing more secure and forces ready to stop attacks.

Look around the USA; wide open borders, lax security at all crossings and airports, no security personnel in site, unarmed TSA monitoring entry but no one monitoring exits, etc, etc.......

America fears & dreads the government and police, and that makes for a wide open playing field for terrorist!
