Kurdistan stopped exporting oil to Turkey for "technical reasons"

Erbil - Iraq Press July 27: The chairman of the Committee on Industry, Energy and Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Region Parliament, the halt oil exports because of the Kurdish filling reservoirs in the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean.

 

Circo said Jawdat in a statement that the Kurdish oil exports stalled due to filling tanks Turkish port of Ceyhan and other technical reasons.

 

Kurdish official did not say when stopped exports specifically, but said the stop would be for a temporary period after the re-region pumping oil through the new pipeline its own.

 

The first tanker carrying crude from the pipeline Kurdish sailed from Ceyhan in May last year. And sailed three other carriers since then.

 

Kurdistan and began selling its oil independently of the central government in 2012 as the initial transfer of small amounts of condensate by truck through Turkey and then two types of crude oil.

 

Kurdistan is planning to increase exports to 400 thousand barrels per day at the end of this year from about 150 thousand barrels per day at the moment.

 

The region is trying to export a million a day next year, including the quantities which will hopefully be extracted from the fields of Kirkuk after Kurdish forces seize them this month and Btha the new route.

 

Baghdad rejects these endeavors is the source of oil without its consent as a "smuggler" and threatened to sue buyers. Ended.M j.
