Interesting, the Bible says that I will make you a burdensome to the whole world.  But, it wasn't talking about the US, it was talking about Israel.  But, was it?  The international community is tired of the wars in the name of democracy.  Name one country in the middle east that we invaded or put soldiers in that has democracy.  It's getting pretty obvious that the world community has noticed there is something wrong.  The citizens never benefit, but,  who does?  The weapons manufacturers, the oil companies, the governments both US and the country invaded by installing either another dictatorship, or a tyrannical government.  And the US is under the impression that they are grateful to us, or should be.  Well if you lived in Iraq would you be?  Yeah, walk a mile in their shoes in your imagination and it just don't seem to fit the picture of democracy at it's finest, or it's worst.  It's nothing more than rape and pillage.    If the US wants to be the police of the world then they should lead by example.  Citizens on our borders are really upset at the fact that non citizens, especially walking in illegally are getting better treatment from our government that it's own citizens who pay their taxes.   Try and do that in another country, carry your happy self in and expect to be taken care of..good luck with that.
