After a long day in Parliament Iraq has a new President and his name is Fuad Masum, a well respect Kurd with the vision of a National Non Sectarian Unity for Iraq.

15 Days Now To See A New Prime Minister

  Now the Speaker of the House of Representatives calls on the new elected President to announce the largest bloc and for them to assign their nominee for Prime Minister.

QUOTE: "We call on the president to assign Fuad Masum, the largest bloc in the parliament to form a government and choose a prime minister."

QUOTE: "the constitutional period to choose a prime minister is 15 days after the selection of the president."

Folks, that's 2 Iraqi Presidents down and 1 to go. Parliament will reconvene on the 5th of August to vote in a new Prime Minister.

Will it be Maliki, Mahdi or Chalabi?

I believe it will be Mahdi... But that's just me!

We are now down to days and not months, when we see a new government formed completely that will implement many changes in Iraq.

With the right GOI I believe Turki will finally be able to launch the project that will change the lives of many in the world.

Got to admit...this has been a soapie for a lot of years!   As Iraq Turns....    With all the positive news out there right now, even Adam is hinting, that this might be over soon.  Let's hope it is, but please all.....do not stand too close to the balconey, in case it doesn't....

I think EVERY ONE of us believed that it would be "any day.... SOON !" when we FIRST got in this thing, but after it never showed up, we started to realize that this was a wait and see investment and those Guroo's were just pumpers and here we are, waiting and seeing. I doubt if any of us thought that it would go on this long, and I am sure none of us are willing to totally walk away from it .  Sure lots of the ones who "overbought" cut loose from some, but surely not their whole stash.

If Iraq was smart, they would change monetary policy at a time when the rate can be SUSTAINED.
