Turkey/Israel Kurdish Oil???

Recommended Posts

One has to wonder if Israel will be a welcome customer for the Kurdish oil deals since the Kurds are dependent on Turkey for getting their exports out to sea??? I'm sure there will be other customers in the future... but it doesn't sound like Israel will be in the buyers line.

Israeli massacres echo Hitler mentality: Turkey

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned the latest Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip, accusing Israel of massacring Palestinians.

He also questioned the world’s silence on Tel Aviv’s ongoing atrocities in the blockaded enclave, underlining that any normalization in the ties between Israel and Turkey is impossible.

Erdogan told members of his ruling Justice and Development Party in parliament on Tuesday that Israel is perpetrating a “massacre” of Palestinians and “is continuing to carry out state terrorism in the region.”

The Turkish premier further slammed Israeli lawmaker Ayelet Shaked for his controversial remarks posted on social media suggesting that the Palestinians deserved to die.

Erdogan is scheduled to meet the president of the Palestinian national unity government, Mahmoud Abbas, in Turkey on Friday.

“What's the difference between this mentality and that of Hitler?” Erdogan asked.

Israel has been carrying out unrelenting airstrikes against Gazans since July 8. Around 200 people have been killed in the attacks so far with the UN saying most of the casualties are civilians.

Relations between Israel and Turkey soured after Israeli marines stormed a Gaza-bound Turkish ship in 2010 while in international waters. Ten Turks have died since the assault.

Erdogan said ties will remain frosty as long as Israel continues its Gaza offensive, noting that Tel Aviv must know that “it is out of the question to normalize our relations if those massacres continue.”

Gaza has been blockaded since 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standard of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.

Hamas hides behind women and children. COWARDS!

Hamas killed those children!

Those boys were PLAYING on the beach... Hamas was no where around those children.

It happened during a time when there was a supposed ceasefire agreement from both sides.

Stop spewing such ignorance.

Update: Three More Children Killed in Latest Airstrike on Gaza: http://bit.ly/1peSf3Q

Graphic video emerged today of the aftermath of an Israeli strike that left four children dead on a beach near Gaza City this afternoon. The children were all under the age of 11 and from the same family. This comes in the midst of Israel's most recent offensive in the Gaza Strip that has killed more than 200 people, which up until Sunday, were 80 percent civilians, according to the UN.

"It happened during a time when there was a supposed ceasefire agreement from both sides"

Nice try! The UN reported that HAMAS did not accept and broke the cease fire!

If you are so against Israel and pro Hamas? Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in the GazaStrip?

Pick up a gun & fight! Put your money where your mouth is! :)

Put your heart and conscience where your mouth is.

You really should read up before you make any more claims.

"On Wednesday, strikes were reported across the Gaza strip, including one near the port in Gaza City that killed four children, all members of a popular local family of fishermen. The kids were named as Ahed Baker, 11, Muhammed Baker, 11, Zakaria Baker, 10, and Ismail Baker, 9. They were at the beach when the strikes occurred, as were dozens of foreign journalists who are staying in a nearby hotel."

“Israel’s rhetoric is all about precision attacks, but attacks with no military target and many civilian deaths can hardly be considered precise,” Sarah Leah Whitson, the watchdog's Middle East director said in a statement. “Recent documented cases in Gaza sadly fit Israel’s long record of unlawful airstrikes with high civilian casualties.”

Three More Children Killed in Latest Air Strike on Gaza

UPDATE: Israeli officials have confirmed that they have launched a ground operation in the Gaza strip.

A day after four children were killed by Israeli shelling on a Gaza beach under the eyes of dozens of foreign journalists, three more children, once again all members of the same family, were reportedly killed in another air strike in Gaza City.

That brings the number of Palestinian children killed since the latest military operation started on July 7 to more than 44.

At least 229 people have been killed so far and, according to UN figures, a majority of them have been civilians.

The graphic video below shows the aftermath of the strike and the young victims.

The photos below show the children's funeral.

The latest strike, which hit the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, came as bombing resumed immediately after a five-hour “humanitarian window” to allow Gaza residents to restock on food and other essential supplies. (different bombing gymrat... in case you missed that)

The IDF said it held to the humanitarian ceasefire despite three mortars being fired from Gaza into Israel during that time.

Wednesday’s beach shelling, which was documented by countless witnesses with video and photos, stirred up international condemnation.

But, as some pointed out, it was not the first time children were killed in the latest operation — they just happened to die in front of foreign cameras.

On July 13, 18 members of the same family, including six children and three women, one of them pregnant, were killed in a strike, and on July 10, eight members of the Al Haj family, including five children, were killed in an attack on Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Human Rights Watch condemned Israel's airstrikes targeting civilians as "unlawful."

Mona El-Farra, director of Gaza Projects of the Middle East Children's Alliance, also condemned the targeting of civilians.

"I am not sure how the pilots who are dropping bombs on us day and night can lead normal lives knowing how many innocent children they have killed," she said in a statement, before the latest strike."
