Iran is waiting for the results of the Iraqi elections and the Gulf states fear Maliki win a third term  
 
In the midst of election campaigns in Iraq, all eyes of the neighboring countries to experience New Democracy through the legislative elections scheduled for the end of this month, and the impact of the results on internal security and stability of the region. 
said Director of the Iraqi Institute for Development and Democracy in London Ghassan al-Attiyah said the neighboring countries are considered the results of This election is an important indicator for the future of its relations with Iraq. 
"These elections will have effects on all countries in the region, especially the relationship Maliki with Turkey and with most of the Arab countries is good, but his relationship strong with Iran." 
and pointed out that the Gulf states wish to not get Maliki a third term as prime minister.
