Breaking news : Snowglobe reported a judge approves agreement over swaps between Detroit and banks .  UBS and Bank of America had agreed on $85 million settlement with Detroit.  The approval is a major step in Detroit’s reorganization.

 

Missing plane : Zuluman reported officials expressing confidence that signals detected in ocean are from missing plane’s black boxes.  It raises hopes for finding plane.  Australia’s PM says search crew have zeroed in on a more targeted area in Indian Ocean.  Signals from black boxes are starting to fade.  But, rumor has it MH370 is parked in Afghanistan, near Pakistan border.  Where.. oh where are you MH370?

 

Ukraine crisis : Umbertino heard Ukraine’s PM meets with leaders in pro-Russian eastern region.  He says he is committed to allowing regions to have more powers. In the meantime, EU officials consider broadening list of people sanctioned because of Russia’s annexation of Crimea.  New list of target may be drawn up on Monday.

 

The bull slipped another 143 points on the slippery slope.  Nasdaq drops over 1% briefly turns positive, then retreats again, down for third straight week.  Dow on pace for first weekly drop in 4 weeks.  Dow and S&P500 all round 2 months low. Market shows erotic movements today as a lot of stocks especially biotech have been shorted as stocks sell off continues.  Energy stocks lead as tech and biotech slumps. Boosterbglee heard Alibaba to acquire Autonavi, a Chinese digital map and navigation company for $1.5B.  Autonavi (AMAP) traded up 2.5%.  Chess snatches some Enable Midstream (ENBL) stocks, natural gas transmission firm  at  IPO opening priced at $20/share. The stock gained  11% in minutes of trading.  Wiljor is smiling and happy as Zoe’s kitchen, restaurant chain begins trading at $15/share.  The stock gained  67% once it opens.  Phibro Animal Health Co (PAHC), an animal health company also begins trading today at Nasdaq offering 11.8M shares at $15/share.   Eagleeye has kept an eye on Farmland Partners (FPI) which begins trading, REIT prices at $14/share, the stock took 7.5% dive once it opens. Impax Labs (IPXL) resubmits new drug application for its Parkinson’s disease treatment to FDA.  Thriver is surprised Zynga appointed former Best Buy executive David Lee as their CFO, Zynga traded 2% higher.

 

Calkid11 wants you to know that website security flaw, a bug named “Heartbleed” could reach beyond websites to digital services.  Cisco and Juniper say their main products not affected by bug, but some products are. Eburt can’t wait to to get his hands on Galaxy S-5 as Samsung rolls them out worldwide today; hoping to pre-empt next generation iPhone.  S-5 can survive submerged in water and has fingerprint scanner.  BMO capital upgraded Jakks Pacific (JAKK), toy maker from market perform to outperform. Tankdude heard Chinese internet media firm SINA announces $500M share buyback program.

 

Balkanbob let out a deep sigh as Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius resigns.  Little Obe nominated budget director Sylvia Mathews Burwell as replacement.  DOJ probing whether Citi unit in California failed to alert government about suspicious banking transactions.  In some cases, the transactions involved drug cartel members.  Let's hope it doesn't involve Colorado with its weeds.

 

From dinar land : The aliens have been fighting Vietnam1969 and his team members fiercely as more pressure in the assault to oust all the aliens out of the border.  Stealthwarrior is still busy mopping the last raid. From rumor land : Millionday says we don’t have the date and rate yet but we are close considering all the work done. Tim724 thinks Turki makes a good move buying gold to back up the real value of dinar which he hopes to revalue soon.  TerryK says all source called and it’s going down this weekend. Poppy3 thinks Maliki could pull the trigger and yet again there are people who don’t want to support him to win the 3rd term, either way the rv is getting closer daily.

Ahhhh... several hundred billion dinar ....that's quite a bit

 

A guy like me though is probably just about as happy with a spoon with some peanut butter on it  :)

That Biscotti sounds really good!

How does some Creme Brulee sound? I have a new method of making it in a pan, I'll just whip some up for you here....   :huh:

Law,

 

Well.. you force me to make the decision and it's tough :)  since the chef is so handsome with nice bod and an excellent cook, knows how to make creme brulee the way I like it.. I will take the cook and I can always have the creme brulee anytime I want :)
