Missing plane : Boosterbglee heard Australian officials say search crew hunting for missing MH370 has located a new possible underwater signal.  It’s in the same area where ship heard pings this week.  Looks like there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

 

Ukraine crisis :  Umbertino reported NATO chief demanding Russia pull back the tens of thousands of troops, it says are massed on Ukraine’s border.  He says troops are there to pressure Kiev government. SgtFuryUSCZ  heard Pouting Putin is telling EU leaders that Ukraine gas debts to Moscow can threaten supplies to Europe.  His aim is to exert economic pressure on Europe.

 

The bull slipped 267 points on the slippery slope and on pace for first weekly drop in 4 weeks.  Nasdaq turns lower for the week and on its pace for third straight weekly decline. Russell 2000 tumbles nearly 3%.  Dow and S&P500 have biggest drops in 2 months.  Thriver feels Today is sell losses, accelerate throughout session. Eburt heard H&R Block reaches definitive agreement to divest its bank.  Lady Grace’s daddy is about to faint when he learns JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon received $11.8M in total compensation for 2013.  His pay is down 37% from the previous year due to legal fees and fines.  Genx4me heard Blackberry CEO says the company would consider exiting the handset business, the stock went up 1%.  Chess is losing some money as Ally Financial (ALLY) opened at $24.25 below $25 IPO price.  LeeC is anxious to get his hands on Sysorex Global holdings (SYRX), IT services firm to begin trading today at Nasdaq offering 3.3M shares at $6/share.  Texas1 feels with the market going down, it will be hard for IPO to not fall from their opening price. Wiljor read in Realty Trac that number of home foreclosures slid 23% in March from a year ago.  Q1 foreclosures activity at lowest level since Q2 of 2007.

 

Nannab is happy Walmart going organic and expand its organic grocery category by adding Wild Oats brand.  Whole Foods says organic food market continues to grow.  They just opened a whole food store in London.  365 which is Whole Foods brand is priced competitively.  WF added  it is their least worry about overlapping with Walmart customers.  He further added quality standard and consistency is what brings customers clear choice about organic foods.  Whole Foods is aggressively expanding the clientele and contemplating delivery plans.

From rumor land : Millionday is excited as Western Union service is done and ready in Iraq,this can mean an international recognized currency.  Jester thinks China will get the oil credit, US gets its debt released and we get our RV.  Nova thinks dinar is going international quite soon.  Poppy3 says he is expecting to hear some good news anytime.  TNT Tony says prepare to be overwhelmed.
