So... this is why the RV had been stalled and Delayed

Recommended Posts

 As you have already heard there have been new Dinar notes printed up. Supposedly these new notes are New and Improved along with brail markings to assist the blind! Assist the blind??? Most in charge there don't even care about the average citizen much less the blind! Have the powers that be used this excuse to eliminate the current Dinar making ours now useless in lieu of the new? We knew the powers that be did not want us to be a part of this so they stalled the process long enough to create a new Dinar. Can we buy it? No but I bet they can. How much sense does it make to print up new dinar when current dinar is high in security markings as it is yet still worthless? Gurus are dismissing all this like its a good thing. I guess I am the only one calling BS on this whole new dinar fiasco. If the dinar had already revalued and they began printing a new series later as the old began to wear out it would make sense, but to print brand new series high denominations while the current version is worthless stinks like a rat.

I think you are overreacting. The notes circulating in Iraq are torn and tattered and worn out. They added a new feature to the notes to help the blind but I don't think that they've printed a brand new currency rendering ours worthless. Key is RE- Printed currency.

I agree.  Its no different than our treasury printing newer bills that have a very different look but still equal the same number of dollars.  Both old and newer version bills are accepted equally.  The banks and treasury will slowly remove the old worn bills as they come in.  Iraq is just doing the same thing.  It has nothing to do with either an RV or an RD.

Just because the UST is too frickin unconscious to accommodate visually impaired people, doesn't necessarily mean that Iraq is just as messed up in that regard.......Actually Iraq is under major pressure to show improvements in accommodating all its citizens, including those who are disabled. While the Iraqi notes are all different sizes (unlike the US currency), this is one more feature allowing visually impaired people more independence absent some screw ball ripping them off (unlike the US)

And as I said in another thread, I personally like the idea of giving this whole circus ride a bit more time for Iraq to increase the value of the exchange rate, before they start introducing the lower denoms, lest this be a neutral event....

Having lived through the introduction of the Euro to replace the Lira (a neutral event in terms of USD exchange rate)... it would be a freakish, outrageous nightmare were Iraq to increase the exchange rate value of their currency AND introduce the lower denoms at the same time..... No one would know what the helllll they had in terms of exchanged money.... and the banks could go into creative overdrive.... I can't see that as practical, or probable when it gets right down to actual application.... Some countries in the EU are still struggling with the massive hyper inflation of Euro currency introduction.... if for no other reason, than many vendors had no idea how to do that exchange and prices went through the roof when they just took off zeros.. which they did (in terms of USD equivilant before and after), and that was fairly straight forward....

Oh and the UST is not compliant with ADA, but I bet you will never see consequence for that.... despite having just introduced a new 100 bill.... (and no, neither I or any one I know is visually impaired, so its not my "issue" its just human decency... not to mention no agency should be above their own frickin laws... ew)

I don't think you have to sweat "that" part of the RV (just everything else?).

Here's a quote from the CBI:

the bank said in a statement received by the Agency for News News ( et al) , a copy of it, he was "re-print the new series of banknotes of Iraq and currently circulating pictures of new and superior protection, using a good quality of printing paper, with the inclusion of the two dates Hijri and Gregorian and the signing of the Governor of the Central Bank and the Agency Abdul Basit Turki Saeed, with the addition after security tags , "pointing out that" the banknotes current will continue trading with the new will not be pulling rolling them now or in the future. "

"THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!" Not, no need to worry;)

Better get into the fallout shelter now, Ben...before it's too late.

Overreacting man. Let's not live our dinar lives like the preppers. They're just printing more money. Like we do.

It may have nothing to do with us, just replacing worn out bills

Dude, you are trippin'. Chill out. Relax. It's all good. Don't despair. If you are that worried, get out. This endeavor is not for everyone. I've already lost a cousin and a very close friend because of this roller coaster ride. One had a massive blood vessel burst in his head and he died in a few minutes......the other took a .38 Special revolver with +P ammo and blew the whole top of his head off, clutching a fistfull of 25k notes. The thing both of them had in common was they got extremely upset about the dinar not RV'ing.

Something that gets you that upset is definitely not good for your health.

Yes I believe they have printed brand new dinar.we all know and have known since day one that the dinar we hold could be worthless paper, like confederate money.they can do whatever they want to with their currency.if I was them,i would want to get out of this situation as cheap as I could and so would you.if my notes are deamed worthless then I will make a cool tabletop out of them and dismiss my losses.

I am sorry for your loss brother.there will be many others if this goes south on us.sad but true

Time will tell....and hopefully not too much more time...

I wouldn't sweat this, people.  They are just coming into compliance with new CBI currency requirements.  We do the same thing with our currency.  It probably means no RD for a while however.  Them having 80 trillion dinar out there pretty much shuts the door on an RV until they can reduce that number substantially.

Good advise to all dinar holders. TC +++.  Also it is good advise to anyone with money challenges.  All of us have $$ problems, either not enough, or too much and we don't know how to handle it, or we are worried that someone will take it away from us, or a thousand other worries related to money.

If you have money problems, they can be overcome.  So, as TC says, "Chill out. Relax."

What kills us is not the money but obsessing about money.  We need to remember that it is only a tool to be USED by us.  It is not a RULER and KING over us!  Money is not the root of all evil, but the LOVE of money sure is.

Absolutely true. The notes he was clutching were stained by blood spatter and brain tissue.

Neither my cousin nor my friend had pending financial problems. Now they were definitely not wealthy......they were middle - class working stiffs.

Another commonality they shared was listening to a "pilot guru" who constantly proclaimed the RV happening several times each week.

These pariahs out there have destroyed countless lives through suicide and convincing people to purchase more than they could afford.

I've heard folks say that it is the responsibility of each investor to police themselves but when you have "gurus" out there invoking God,patriotism and military service, they have sucked folks in with their false trust.

I often wonder just how many people have taken their own lives or lost their homes and businesses because of their deceipt & lies?
