Howdy everyone!

 

It's been a while since I sent a general email, so here ya go! This is a 

non-urgent message, so it may take up to 24 hours for it to reach your 

inbox.

 

It's a short 3 days away from the fat man sliding down chimneys around

the world, and here in DinarLand we're hearing more about Duck Dynasty 

and Obama's vacation than we are about anything significantly dinar...

 

... but after many years in the dinar world, I know January is usually a 

big month for progress in Iraq, so look forward to some action soon!

 

Now, how about that Iraqi Dinar?

 

The situation with Iraq and their currency is amazingly simple. At this 

time, the CBI controls the rate unilaterally - there is no outside agency 

with any control over the rate. It is what the CBI says it is, and that's the 

end of the story.

 

Currently they say the rate is 1166.

 

What will it take for them to raise that rate? The answer is simple, once 

again. In order for the CBI to raise the rate, they have to be confident 

that they can maintain the new rate. As always, this brings us back to a 

major key to Iraq's future success as a country... their ability to function 

as a free country, producing goods and making sales.

 

Chapter 7 was a major key in their progress; they are now able to act 

on their own without the former UN restrictions. The next major hurdle 

will be the HCL, and all signs are pointing towards that happening in our 

near future.

 

One thing that I think a lot of people fail to grasp is the amazing amount 

of wealth in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar... all extremely 

wealthy. You can't fly through Dubai International without bumping into 

a couple millionaires. And Iraq, at one time in recent history, was right 

up there with them. Although they have suffered a huge setback, they 

have been working diligently towards the goal of repairing their country 

and returning to a place of respect and prosperity. 

 

Their time is coming soon.

 

With that said, I am optimistically looking forward to major movement on 

the HCL over the next 4-7 weeks, and if this January shapes up like I think

Only have one simple question today. I'm a Wisconsin resident, the main reason I'm here, and I'm a Vietnam Era AF Vet with all the  VA benefits, hospitalization, meds or whatever. Served from 63-66 in Command Hdqs Pac Security Region with superhigh security clearances. Often have to explain that to the battleground vets. Anyways, my question is:::: Is there anybody in your network that will exchange, or do you have  favorite dealers or banks in Wisconsin, or banks you recommend? I don't like banks, and have been dealing with Sterling, exclusively, so far. Would like to bring the business back to Wisconsin, if possible.
