Baghdad (AIN) -The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, emphasized “Forming a National Salvation Government is not possible at the current time until the current government resigns.”

During the press conference held at the parliament on Thursday, he said “The constitution does not permit forming a national salvation government unless the current government submits its resignation.”

“The current government will not resign because the remaining time of its term is very short,” he added.

“We need a national agreement and to nominate the security ministers and to have a transparent revelation of what is going on in the country,” he concluded. /End/

Translation: Maliki & the State of Law party are still screwing things up, and until we can get them out of office we really can't progress as needed. We might have to wait for the next election cycle...(LOL).  I think that's the state of affairs......RON   :tiphat:

Thanks for the article Woody...!  :twothumbs:

This tells us again Maliki is holding on to a prayer, and it ain't good for us.   Still no security ministers.  Where does he get all his nerve.  Oh yeah, that's right, he steals money from the oil to pay for his people to cause havoc on the country.  There is just no getting rid of evil.

Twilight News / student leader of the Iraqi List, Hamid al-Mutlaq, on Thursday, the formation of an interim government instead of the current government "to overcome the" failures of the stage, and with renewed the call for an end to "besiege" the people of areas Tarmiyah and Abu Ghraib and Taji, pointed out that the Prime Minister does not bear alone responsibility.

Mutlaq said in a press conference held in the House of Representatives, attended the "Twilight News", that "the besieged residents of areas Tarmiyah and Abu Ghraib and Taji does not allow us to know the conditions of its residents as the information that we have is exposed those areas to the circumstances of a crippling blockade cut off roads, water, electricity and tighten screws on the entrances. "

He added, "We have failed and we معترفون بفشلنا and mistakes, and under these circumstances we form a transitional government instead of the   current government to address the failures of the stage. "

He continued that "the prime minister does not bear sole responsibility although he bears the greatest responsibility, but we all blocks, politicians and parties that take full responsibilities in those failures; due to our behavior by rivalries and disagreements and personal and partisan interests at the expense of the national interest."

He pointed out that "we passed 11 years and we are losing lives and resources and retreat to the back and our young graduates are unemployed and hungry people."

Mutlaq stressed "the need to hold negligent and responsible for the escaped prisoners and security breaches, rather than accounting residents and civilians."

The deterioration of security witnessed in the past few days, especially as it relates to بهرب many prisoners from the prisons of Abu Ghraib and Taji in Baghdad, in an orderly process, triggering a wave of criticism on the work of the security services and government officials, did not hide some demanding the government to resign and hold early elections.
