rightsonword
I never really liked Christie, but he deserves huge props for being a rational person in times of tragedy. He manned up and gave thanks to Obama, a person he is fighting against. He put partisanship aside for the good of the people. Many on this board could learn a thing or two about civility from this man.

He seems to think Christie is consorting with the enemy now.

cris
You should tell Rush Limbaugh that. He seems to think Christie is consorting with the enemy now. Christie can afford to be generous towards Obama, He's not running for office....Here's the thing, Christie is very smart....Much smarter than the POTUS....I suspect this is a backhanded insult to the future former President. Along the lines of, 'thanks, you finally did something right.'

Along the lines of, 'thanks, you finally did something right.' Perhaps that's true. Now, although I commend Christie for putting politics aside during this time, and as much as Limbaugh is an opportunistic idiot for trying to blast bi-partisanship cooperation during this time, I think he has a point that at least in NJ, Christie's praise might win Obama some votes. What do you think?

What do you think? New Jersey is not in play as far as I know, so whether that gets Obama some votes seems to be of no importance. I should say....I agree with Rush on this one. Im not the least bit interested in bi-partisanship...Unless the demo's simply want to agree with everything the Conservatives want.....That type of working together is fine by me. 1

Shocking. 2

I think you just summed it up for sooooo many. You don't really care about listening, understanding or working together for the overall good. You have no interest in a mutual approach to working together.... It's all about you and what you want. As you say, "conservatives" and their wants. I'm a born and raised conservative.. always have been. But, your comment is just plain stupid and ignorant. Sorry, you need to expand your ability to learn a bit beyond Rush Limhaugh. 1

You Libs always cry bipatisanship when you're in trouble. the only way to fix & return the Country to what it should be, is to ignore the failed policies you help to promote... If you Libs would like to help, thats fine....Actually support Conservative ideas. Im sure we''ll see you pipe up again, sobbing that the Republicans are just mean, when they take the Congress.
