7-29-2012 National Conference: The National Conference Names Advisory Council Members Without Vote. Iraq's fractious National Conference has come to an end after organizers announced late yesterday that it had accomplished its job. That job was to choose 81 people to fill the majority of seats on a new advisory council to oversee the interim government. But the way the conference concluded is far from satisfying all those who took part. The reason? The council members were selected, not elected in a vote among the 1,300 delegates, as initially planned. Some critics say that process assures the advisory council will mostly be a reflection of the government itself, with little room for independent voices. http://www.rferl.org...le/1054395.html

The way this is written I think it may be a reprint with today's date. Looks old to me. Very strange.

I find it stunning that someone that has never brought a news article onto this site, can criticize a highly respected member that does far more than bring the news. SWFG not only brings news for all of us, but also does in-depth analysis and commentary, and this means putting your neck out on the line for criticism and rude commentary, which he typically encounters with diplomacy and grace, always informing and educating us. SWFG is someone, despite his age, that is extremely well educated on the Iraq subject, and has obtained a high level of respect in many circles. Are you trying to drive him off too, ski? You can't, he's too smart for you, and he has many friends and supporters here.

So, for you skitealwedrop, to insult SWFG is really about the last straw with your condescending attitude. You bring nothing to this site but platitudes, criticisms, and always follow it up with a 'I await a resolved government, Go RV, don't believe the smack dude, and bro, I love you', and then there is the Adam rear end kiss up, always a good closer.

You have a lot of nerve, moxey, or no grey matter to come on here and criticize SWFG. As I said, it is stunning.

Thug and Bama, keep up the shadow boxing and the left jabs. We may leave for Baghdad at any moment, and SWFG and msmortagewhiz are real Ninaja pros, so I need a few new moves too just to keep up. SWFG, do you have your pink flip flops on? The Gulf Stream is gased up and ready to go.

(I guess this is another story that you had to be there to understand it. Okay, it's slow......... B) ).

Then walk slowly to the Gulf Stream...our first stop will be Key West for a toddy at Sloppy Joe's Bar. Baghdad can wait, as we well know.
