This is important since they will need an internationally traded currency for entry. We are also aware to get to that state they must come out of chapter 7 and have article 8 status for their currency. The good news here is that there have been several articles reporting chapter 7 exit is close. We do know the UNSC extended its involvement in this until the end of the year, however, the exit could come earlier.

TV, radio and newspapers are still telling the people daily about the coming change and they are still saying September. Nothing will happen until after the feast of Ramadan. Shabibi is still saying 30 days in country to exchange and 45 out of country.
7-16-2012 Newshound Guru Kaperoni The CBI is stating because of the delays, due to the layout decisions on the new currency, they will issue the smaller bills to cover in the meantime. That is spectacular news for us! The CBI is NOT stopping. The articles about 2014 are simply stating the new currency with the Kurdish language will not be ready as expected in time for the 2013 budget. Yes, now we have confirmation that back in 2003 when the 3 zero notes were printed, they also printed lower denoms. So, what the CBI is going to do…is use the dinar that is already printed. Awesome stuff! These notes are within the same family and will be introduced...There is no value unless the rate rises. So there, we have confirmation that smaller denoms do exist.
