Hello Again You Wonderful DV Friends!

I had my PET scan this morning and was also cleared by the cardiologist yesterday for my procedure on Thursday.

The PET showed a "lighting up" of the tumor in my chest as well as some lymph nodes near my breast bone. NOT good news as this is pointing toward some type of cancer!

The surgeon feels it doesn't make sense to try to remove the growth tomorrow (I learned on Tuesday that it is the size of my heart)!!
So he will pluck out a lymph node and examine it under a microscope to see if it is Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

If it is indeed HL, then he suggests chemotherapy once they determine the type of Lymphoma it is. He said the growth is necrotic in the middle, which indicates a fast growing tumor.

The surgeon said that it is likely one of three types of cancers: lung (which he doubts), lymphoma, or ESS which has spread to my lung area.

He also said I have fluid around my left lung and around my heart!

So by tomorrow evening, I will know if I have HL and then they will "type" it for the best kind of chemo to use. He said with growths like mine, chemo will reduce them to nothing, so a big incision between my lungs will not be required!

I will keep you ladies updated on everything. I should be out of the hospital by Friday morning, then HOME at last!

ONE bright spot, my bowels have returned to normal at least and I am eating again!!

I love you all! And thanks much again for all your good wishes and prayers!!!

Candy, If it is HL or other form of cancer, we will be here to help you get through it with all our prayers.
I also had to go through a challenge such as yours. You bring back so many memories of what I went through just 4 yrs ago.

Candy you sound like a very brave women. Let me tell you, it takes courage to deal with such a big challenge. Hold tight to your courage. Fight the emotional stress, fear, anxiety and loneliness, fight it hard, give it all you got. Fight, fight, fight. Weakness has know room in healing. No room what soever.

Gather your family and pray together, feel the strength from their prayers. Feel their love for you. Don't worry about your family put them in God's loving arms. God will take care of them. Get Candy's heart and soul ready for what lies ahead.

Candy your already in the healing stages, our prayers will help jump start you in healing. Hold God close to your heart. Ask Him to hold your hand as you go through the procedure. He will help you through each stage that is required of you to heal. He will help you tolerate it all.

Candy know that I feel where your are coming from. My prayers will be there for you everyday. My tears will fall for you but they will be tears of healing.

God Bless you Candy. May His healing hands be upon you.

Candy,

I'm not one of the "ladies" but I have been praying for you and will continue to do so. I see health and healing coming into your life through the doctors' hands and the treatments prescribed. I would encourage you to remain positive, strong and confident and to visualize the medications going to just the right spot and accomplishing what they are designed to do! Remember, ultimately, He is the Great Physician and your DV family will be lifting you up in prayer. Keep us posted, we will be expecting good news!

Hello My DV Family,

My surgery went well last Thursday. I am waiting for the call regarding the biopsy of the lymph node removed from the bottom of my neck area.

I had a rough 3 days with my bowels after I got home from the hospital. And then we had to get our garage door fixed, SIGH!!

Anyway my bowels are much better now and I am trusting that God will completely heal me!

Thanks so much for your good thoughts and prayers!!

Hi My DV Family!

I finally got a call this evening from the Thoracic surgeon who removed the lymph node at the bottom of my neck and he said the pathologist told him it is a "reactive lymph node". I have included a link I found on Google to help explain this.

http://www.eurocytol...2mod4contD.html

Now they want to do ANOTHER chest needle biopsy! I am happy they didn't say it is definitely Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but how long can I be tested to finally find out what the Sam Hill is going on?

Thanks yet again for all of your love, support and prayers!!!

Candy, be encouraged for there is nothing that is too difficult for God. Three weeks ago yesterday, I had to have a growth removed from my colon, and the surgeon also removed 19 lymph nodes from the surrounding area. He actually removed that section of my colon affected by the tumor which was a cancer. During my recovery they received pathology reports that 18 of the lymph nodes were fine but one had one or two cancerous cells .Because they were removed at that time, he said "we have no reason to believe there is any cancer remaining in your system . Also during that time because my veins are small they wondered where they could find another site if they needed to take more blood. The enemy would like us to dwell on such things. However we cannot and must not follow that road. The many test , caused some discouragement , however, somehow even thru anger , I would encourage myself in the Lord . "no weapon formed against you Candy can prosper" in Jesus name ! I command healing to flow through and to every cell in your body! satan ,we remind you that you are under Candy s feet !

The most important thing is to remain positive and not allow discouragement to enter your thoughts. Keep positive people around you and the promises of God for healing in your heart and mind. The enemy would like us to dwell on anything negative, but our help comes from the Lord, who has promised never to leave or forsake us.

Step by step think on everything good in your life, your family and your progress. Because His Word says as we think in our hearts so are we...think, believe and declare that you are getting better every day and in every way. Speak to yourself daily that His power is already at work in you. Know also that prayer indeed does change things, for " The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much".

Father, I pray for Candi that your anointing would touch every area of her lungs, lymph nodes and chest that has been affected by these cells. Strengthen her that she would have the encouragement in her heart that "all things work for good to them that love God". Just as Jesus removed the doubters before healing the little girl, Lord we ask that you remove any and all negative, unbelief from those who surround her. By faith we send the Word that she might be healed and made whole in Jesus Name !

Candi keep us informed of your progress. Know that many people you have never met are praying with and for you that God's power would manifest healing in your life. The Bible says if any 2 or 3 agree concerning anything on earth it will be done by our heavenly Father.

God bless and encourage you this very day.

Thank you DV Family for your support and prayers. This means SO much!!

After I was told this week that my lymph node biopsy was "reactive", I have another needle biopsy this coming Tuesday. This time cytology will be in the room to make sure they get a darned good sample of that lung mass.

I am STILL praying this is NOT any type of cancer!

Thank you again for your prayers and good thoughts!

In life you can absolutely count on one thing, - everything can turn around in one day, in one minute sometimes. Don't you dare to give up, - you might be a moment away from a windfall.

Candy, just remember that when you went through the last "tests" at the hospital, God was with you then. And He's with you now. I will keep praying for you, but you need to keep in mind at every moment that you are well, that you have already been healed by the God Who walks with us at every step along our path. Imagine this into reality, Candy. That's how our lives are changed, by focusing on the reality we want so strongly that it becomes our reality. You are a Beloved of God. Never forget that for a single moment. Meantime, I will keep praying for you, along with the rest of your "dinar family." Blessings, Fran

Wish me luck again, all! I have to be at the hospital at 7:00 am Tuesday so my husband and I will be staying in a local hotel Monday night like we did last week to be close to the medical center.

I am SO sick of all these tests, and sometimes I wish they would just leave me alone!!

Candy, I hated all the waiting on test results, the poking, the going under of the anesthesia, the IV's, the fear, it was frustrating and like you said sickening. Knowing that my family was going through all this waiting also just broke my heart. Seeing their concerns for me was killing me. I didn't want to put them through something like this. I didn't want my daughters to ever have to endure this. I cried behind closed doors. I cried with God and he heard my cries. Then He stepped into the picture.

In the meantime Candy, I allow God to speak to me. He gave me strength, courage and love. I used all the negative thoughts and turn it into God Almighty's loving energy. He stood by me all the way and continues to be with me.

The strength that I received and the example that I set for my family, in turn gave them the strength to be my strength. If that makes sense. So you see God works miracles in different forms.

Candy I know it's hard to feel Him, to think that He is with us. But He is.
We solely depend on the doctors for all the answers. To some point that's okay, but the big picture, the colorful picture lies in God's hands.

He's given you your family for strength, lean on every loving word of God. He's given you us, here at DV, we all will walk with you. We will pray with you.

May God surround you with His love. ;) If you would like to talk, don't hesitate to message me on my profile.
