Baghdad (AIN) -MP Aziz Sharif al-Mayahi of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee demanded the Iraqi Central Bank to take real actions to confront the unreasonable rise in the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar against the US dollar, calling to replace and dismiss some influential figures in the Bank who manipulate in the exchange rate.

Mayahi said "The Iraqi Central Bank is not serious in coping with this problem because it adopts routine and useless measures in this regard."

The Head of the ICB Sinan Shibibi attributed the rise in the US dollar's value in front of the Iraqi dinar to the weakness of the local production and lack of Iraq's exports (except oil) in addition to weakness of the government's proceedings to attract foreign capitals and the unstable political situations internally and regionally. /End/

If they would work more than 1 day a week then they might see both production and exports go up. I talked to a man from Israel the day before yesterday and asked him which place was hotter, Israel or San Antonio? He said it felt hotter here. Now I ask myself, if I can work in the heat that is hotter than Israel, why are the Iraqi's shutting down because of the heat? Quit being lazy and GO TO WORK. JMO

Skrappy.... I hope that you get some of the rain that is coming through the Austin area. It has cooled the temps down quite a bit. Plus, I don't need to water the lawn for a while :D

possible reason they are getting off early is the power grid is up long enough ,,, surely not the heat ,,, they live there,,,, but then again no power no air conditioning or fans ,,, ----- > put a couple camels on tread mill connected too a long belt that is connected too fan blades { and then r.v. } just me thinking ;)
