Dinars and dollars from the same ATM machines - is this normal?

Only in Iraq lol...till the rv. However here in canada i can open a usd acct. With the appropriate credit cards. It's mostly business travelers that use the accts. Most major banks will do that. However all our atms will only spitout canadian money

It is going to take time to De-Dollarize the country of Iraq. This appears to be a good plan...IMO

they will stock u.s. dollars for a little while and then only carry dinar : with a note attached too a.t.m. machine : sorry temporarily out of u.s. dollar but please feel free to use dinar ,,, thank you

This is like deja vu. A year and a half ago there was a rumor from Iraq that Atm's were being loading with dinar, and here it is again. Sorry, but I don't trust anything they report over there, it's probably more hype to get people to buy dinar.

The ATM's in Kuwait give both KWD and US Dollars.
