I seem to recall mention of a policy whereby any members with negs in excess of XYZ amount would be booted or some such event would be the consequence. It seems to me that a bit more "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all" could be practiced. I personally find it a waste of time and energy to respond to a post that seems to have the "egg them on" motive.

Hello OLIVESMAN and thanks for the post.

I must admit, shamefully, that I have been guilty of doing just that; "egging them on." Although it was in response to the incessant attacks at anything I had to say that I did it out of frustration, which is no excuse.

Thus, I shall never again do it no matter how frustrated I become, for I now realize it adds nothing and subtracts much if not all from the dialogue and discussion.

Thanks for giving me my "come-uppance." I certainly deserved it, and I apologize to all who agree.

Anything that might be positive or suggestive that we might make some profit is shot down by all those, that continue to stir the pot. I, for one, would appreciate some follow through with the proposed policy. Up to know, its status quo.

I have one son who has learned the following and another who is still learning and starting to see a difference.When you feel one is trying to push your buttons or get your attention to get a rise out of you , simply Ignore them and refuse to be a party to it.Works wonders

All the pasta noodles stuck to the bottom on the pot.
