I think Hollywood has done an effective job of disqualifying the meaning of "evil."

People of a liberal persuasion take offense at the label and reflect on images like this:


And knowing they don't have horns coming out of their heads they laugh off the label.

For a christian everyone has sinned so it's a much milder idea.

A guy who hits on a girl that he knows is married is evil while to a liberal he is just being a guy.

To a Christian evil is the mechanism that tears the world apart and to a liberal it is what makes it interesting.

Turmoil, dysfunction and disharmony comes from evil but some people enjoy these things.

So if the shoe fits... evil is purposeful agitation.

Well Tiff, I messed-up....I assumed (due to the subject matter being decussed), that everyone here would know the meaning of evil....Bibical mean of evil. Boy was I wrong.

The term "evil" denotes moral and spiritual rebellion. The Deliberate and open violation of God's will and disregard for His commands.

Evil is satan's system by which he administers the ruleship of this world. He uses his world ruleship to bring about the downfall of Jesus Christ. Failing at that, he now tries to turn as many people away from Christ as he can.

As you can see , by definition, anything outside the plan of God is part of satans strategy of "evil"..Therefore, anyone that is consistently working in a direct involvement separate or different from God's plan is "evil".

Evil results in destruction of society, the malfunction of society and causes the removal of legitimate authority.
Just as grace and doctrine represent the genuis of God in relationship to the human race....so "evil" represents the genuis of satan in the relationship to the human race.

Not sure why any here, that claim to be a Christian would want to join forces with whose effect is directly against the authority of the God of Scripture. Tiffany, it is clearly your purpose here to eliminate God and His authority so that she and the herds of others (that she may influence) can rule themselves, make their own decisions and answer to no one.

Pride, self-love, self-will and self authority is the very thing that caused satan's fall from the very beginning

Well Tiffany, the thing that saddens me most is, You have done and are doing a "great" and "fine" job. Just look at the ones that you have already gathered under wing and are ready and willing to defend your "evilness".

Yes, even some of the ones that have declared and proclaimed their alligence to the LORD are now beginning to sway and have doubt as to their 1st Love.

Last but not least, if you are one that is in doubt....please know...You're are either with Him or against Him...you can't have it both ways.

The more you know and read the Bible, the more doctrin you will have in your soul, the more you love the Lord, the more you will hate evil.

All thoughts in life are actually fighting for your soul.

Why is it that, everywhere you go, other people's most cherished values and beliefs come under attack?
