Any ideas the United Nations had about taking over the State of Alabama are gone. Both Houses of Alabama’s legislature unanimously passed Senate Bill 477 (SB 477), known around Montgomery as the “Due Process for Property Rights” Act and by doing so sent a loud and clear message to anyone wishing to impose United Nations control on Alabama to back off!

While almost no Democrat media cheerleader mentioned the bill, the law will likely become the model for get tough/push back efforts against the cowards on the Left who want the United Nations to do the “dirty work” of putting America under international socialist law.

Using strong and specific language, SB 477 orders all state agencies to refuse to cooperate in any UN scheme to subvert the sovereignty of Alabama. It says, “The State of Alabama and all political subdivisions may not adopt or implement policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in, or traceable to ‘Agenda 21.’ ”

The insidious Agenda 21 has been using many non-governmental organizations to work at the grassroots toward forcing One-World Government on the people of many parts of the world.

Of course, as the law points out, the UN has enlisted a broad array of non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations in its effort to foist Agenda 21 on the world —most notably a Germany-based group called ICLEI, formerly known as the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives. But the new measure takes direct aim at that problem, too: “the State of Alabama and all political subdivisions may not enter into any agreement, expend any sum of money, or receive funds contracting services, or giving financial aid to or from” any such entities, as defined in Agenda 21 documents.

Although Agenda 21 has not passed the United States Senate, passing S B 477 with complete bipartisan support makes it clear that Alabama doesn’t trust Senate Majority Leader Democrat Harry Reid not to ram it through a la Obamacare.

Alabamians are not fooled by Democrats’ deceptive “Smart Growth” or “Green jobs” schemes that insert federal funding tentacles into the sovereign State of Alabama’s affairs.

Right on alabama, seems like we have people still fighting for the people even though the rest of the country is going to hades in a handbasket. Alabama is more than just southern hillbillies. We still know what truth and justice is.

Way to go Alabama!!!! Every state in the union should get as free from Federal Gov't as possible. Stop taking the handouts which grabs personal freedoms in return. Every state should be free and independent states. The states national guard or state military should be inhanced to protect state freedoms from encroaching government control. Balance your budgets...... take care of your own people...... stop depending on the Fed. gov't to do your job.

This is great news - we are resisting in my state too. ICLEI is an organization to watch out for - they are trying to implement Agenda 21 little by little in every state. You can see if they are in your state here...

I hope Alabama sent the Huntsville chapter packing! ;)

Good job Alabama....States are taking back their rights day by day
and there is nothing the Feds can do about it.
We in Az are waiting on the Supreme Court to rule on SB1070.
Enforcing our ability to protect the borders & catch the illegal aliens
crossing, since the Feds dont want to do it anymore.
Looks to me that we will win that one, and it will be a big blow to the
current Pretender in Chief.

Ok, Georgia. You lead the nation in hearing the evidence on Obama's birth certificate for candidate qualifications, now follow your sister state in condemning the action of the UN and the Barryized senate. Yes folks that old saying that people didn't like to hear in the past may become a new cry for those of us who want to fight to keep the constitution intact as was intended by our forfathers -

THE SOUTH IS GONNA RISE AGAIN

And the rest of the country would be wise to join us in the fight for our freedom!

Dear Sir,
I have become aware that Alabama passed Senate Bill 477 (SB 477) to stave off the encroachment of the U.N. on their state sovereignty.

This is a very valid concern and I need to know what action Texas is taking to address this encroachment.

I sent this letter to my Texas district representative, I hope to get a response.
