ERBIL, April 29 (AKnews) - President of the Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani in his meeting with Kurdish officials from Baghdad confirmed that they do not support the current political situation in Iraq and that radical solutions must be found for the political crisis in the country.

Barzani said that the radical solutions can be found by going back to the Iraqi constitution and agreements.

Two decision were made at the end of the meeting. Firstly to study the Kurdistan presidency's suggestion for finding a mechanism for strengthening the tie between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. Secondly to contact all of the Kurdish fractions in Baghdad to form a committee for checking the work of Kurdish officials in the federal government and House of Representatives.

Barzani described the earlier consultative meeting with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Iraqiya List leader Ayad Allawi, leader of the Sadrist Movement Muqtada Sadr and Adel Abdul-Mahdi of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) as "successful".

"Bhishma said, 'Abstention from injury to others, truthfulness, the absence of wrath (forgiveness), compassion, self-restraint, and sincerity or candor, O monarch, are the indications of righteousness. There are persons who wander over the earth, praising righteousness but without practicing what they preach and engaged all the while in sin, O king.'"
