Pretty cool K98, how were you able to get the interview?? Wealthhound

I emailed him and asked him if he would be willing to answer a few questions. I really am an independent journalist and have been for years. But he was willing so we corresponded over a few days and that's the result. He wouldn't answer a couple of the questions I put to him as I'm sure he would have caught pure hell if he had... or he just wasn't privy to the information. The main question he wouldn't touch was, "How will the resurgence of the Iraqi currency effect foreign nation's IQD holdings after the removal of the zeros?"

He was evasive in his answer to me and when I gave him a second chance to answer, he just flat out told me he'd rather leave that subject alone. I didn't push him any more than that. All in all it was still a useful interview and at least it confirmed the timing of the whole process, that is before they announced today that the deletion of the zeros was going to be delayed. So here we are in a holding pattern again... It gets old but sooner or later something will happen. And,I believe it will benefit us all in a big way. For me personally, "a big way" would be 5 to 10 cents per dinar. :cigar::lol:

K98nights, I admire your audacity for even thinking of doing this. lol I bet it was fun to get his answers, especially when you knew they were coming from someone who is living right in the heart of everything we keep reading about. And like you, I found the question he wouldn't answer fascinating. I wonder what he was thinking (and feeling . . . fear? . . . uncertainty?) when he finally just flat out said he wouldn't answer that question. Fran

I don't know if you were a member here a couple of years ago... I pulled the same thing with Nuri Al Maliki...lol. Believe me I was as shocked as anyone that he answered me! I think Mr. Aziz was most likely thinking about how journalists are treated in Iraq when they report the wrong things. They are not exactly free over there like we are.

K, thanks for the interview.  It was definately a good read in that it came as close to the horse's mouth as most have come.  I'll not comment on which part of the equine anatomy I think some "intel" has come from.

Not sure how I missed this post before now.  Actually, I'm quite surprised more comments were not posted.

Again, K, thanks.
