Hello

Does anyone here has a debit card with warka bank? if so how do i acquire one? I contacted warka and thats what they said.



With regards to receiving your MasterCard and as posted on our website we will start the issuance of cards after we complete the system configuration and related security updates where once completed a notice will be posted on our website www.warka-bank.com <http://www.warka-bank.com/> updating our fine clients accordingly.

It reads like they have to complete the system configuration and related security updates, and then they will post it on their site that its done. You can probably apply for one then.

I got a card over a year ago, but it never has worked anywhere I've tried it. The bank keeps telling me it is fixed now.......but it isn't

Ditto that! And as I recall, they charged a pretty hefty fee for the (non)service!

For what it's worth, the following news notice is running on the Warka website today:

"Dear valued customer

This is to advise you that our system will be under upgrading process which will cause unavailability of the system starting from 30-04-2012 03:00 pm and will be back to normal starting on 06-05-2012 8:00 am"

I hope the debit cards that have been issued work at some point and time. Otherwise you too will waste your time and throw away your money on their silly piece of plastic.....
