Me too!! SWEEEEET Gun

I thought the high speed video was really cool. I wonder if the barrels are counter rotating (i.e. right hand twist and left hand twist). I suspect the left hand twist on the left side and the right hand twist on the right side may dampen the muzzle flip since the counter rotating direction of the bullets would produce a normal upward churn between them outside the barrels whereas the counter momentum of the 230 gr bullets would be in the downward direction and acting (ending) on through the pistol muzzle inside the barrels.

This may be a needed point to consider if the barrels were swapped out for barrels with compensator extensions to further reduce the muzzle flip.

Well, OK, I'll just buy the thing and enjoy. I'm sure all the "technical details" were already worked out for maximum shooting enjoyment!

I had a compensator put on the barrel of my 50 AE Desert Eagle. I sent the barrel to Magnum Research in Pillager Minnesoata. They did a fabulous job for $200 plus shipping. I like the compensator since it dampens the muzzle flip and gives a push back with a lessened recoil. Knocks the dust off the ceiling, though in the shooting booth in some places. Fire ball is really cool especially near dusk. I load 34.6 gr of Winchester 296 with a 300 gr Ranier Plated Hollow Point. The load chronographs at 1,500 ft/s. For some reason, Ranier discontinued the 300 gr and now only makes the 335 gr. That was probably about 2 1/2 years ago or so when I was looking at getting some more 300 gr to load. Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to burn through the 1,400 or so of my "target" stock and then start over on getting and loading the 335 gr!

It's amazing to me how even the US Army has become so political.  It's a " failure drill" , not a "Mozambique Drill".  The term Soldier must be capitalized.  Transgender Soldiers are a thing...and must be treated with dignity and respect.

i came into the Army when being *** was not allowed. Then came "don't ask don't tell". Then it's ok - just no sexual harassment. Now transgender...I'm just hoping to retire before it becomes "mandatory fun".

The thing that gets me is how the Hell a person that doesn't know they have a what ever and a what ever and they think they are something else even though they have a what ever are even allowed in the Military, LEO or any other such Profession.........If you don't know you are a male and you have a what ever yet you somehow believe you are a Female you are severely  mentally impaired and as such unfit for service.

Just sayin

"Mozambique" is all I ever new. I always thought "Failure Was Not An Option" so why would it now be labeled "Failure Drill"???!!!

Soldiers and itchy trigger fingers are A OK with me!!! :twothumbs: There is no safer "Enemy Combatant" than a Stone Cold Dead "Enemy Combatant"!!!

I hate to no end the ridiculous restrictions placed on our Fellow American Patriots in the field to "neutralize" the "Enemy Combatants" while defending and protecting themselves and fellow soldiers. Sure, gross and intended misconduct is to be avoided and appropriately addressed especially to win or maintain the hearts and minds of the peaceable and inclined friendly locals. Hey, they can help, too, with accurate information received with extreme caution and verified to the extent possible. The peaceable and inclined friendly locals don't want the "Enemy Combatants" around either.

ANYTHING that compromises the morale of the general service personnel is to be eliminated from active service. Political Correctness DOES NOT belong in the Armed Forces. No service person should be put to the test of basic morals under the United States Armed Forces Oath Of Enlistment at ANY time and/or for ANY reason.

Hey, can You guess why Roman command and control in military engagements broke down at the end of the Roman Empire???!!! Yep, You guessed it. So, why is the US Army allowing and/or promoting such idiotic and morale undermining orientations all the while knowing what effect that will have on command and control in the military engagements???!!!

Actually the Roman Army was built around the Older Soldiers recruiting Younger boys into the ranks.....Coddling them and other stuff I wont bring up.....It was said to bring unity to the ranks and the younger recruits would fight harder to protect there other Older Male What ever you want to call it. Concubines  or females weren't even an option back then until the Battle was over.

Rome did fall because of their soldiers.......It fell because of the corruption of their leaders/rulers..........Something to think about all that is happening today in America.

Yep, Karsten, really sick stuff - and what extremely detrimental effect that had on command and control on the battle field. That was deemed more "convenient" than leave for the "typical" or "normal" affairs of the Roman soldiers.

The type of corruption promulgated from the Roman government or ruling classes through to the basic military structure and practices in this outcome really did it in for the Roman Empire. Their economic dysfunctions to include excesses with the disabling outcome to their entire operations caught up with them at seemingly the same time.

Unfortunately, history repeats itself and, fortunately, can be changed in current affairs with the right aptitude, nous, and corporate exercise that can overturn the most onerous circumstances and contrary dispositions.

There are times when I wonder if our leadership in Big Army have forgotten the core values. Maybe they need to remind themselves of what is really importantl. We are supposed to memorize the Soldier's Creed. Many can recite it - but I'm finding that few really live it.

In my experience- and I have 33 years of it - it's really only the combat soldiers - Infantry,  Artillery,  Armor, Cavalry, and I'll throw in the Combat Engineers   - those guys that have bullets coming at them or people trying to blow them up - who really internalize it.

for those of you who have not seen it - here it is. I went to Iraq as an Infantry platoon sergeant. I had some of my guys pay the price of this creed with their blood. I take it very serious...and every time I have some type of "sensitivity training " - I repeat this to myself, just so I can remember what really maters.

Soldier’s Creed

I am an American Soldier.

I am a Warrior and a member of a team.  I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values.

I will always place the mission first.

I will never accept defeat.

I will never quit.

I will never leave a fallen comrade.

I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills.  I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.

I am an expert and I am a professional.

I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.

I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.

I am thinking seriously about getting one of these after the event. A little pricey for right now. I have a 50 AE Desert Eagle and a 500 S&W so I'd like one of these to round out my "collection"!!!

Mr. Synopsis,

OH YES...

That one is on the officially procurement list.

Thanks for sharing.
