Mr Montana . Real quick just your personal opinion. Do you think that even with the HCL in place and chapter 7 resolved that Iraq can RV as long as the violence continues . Would like your take on this as every time I read another al qaeda bomb goes off . I`m thinking OK here goes another month down the drain.

I wish people would do some homework ..its ridiculous how no one wants to put any work in to educate themselves but rely on others to do so..and then get mad when the answer they get was wrong or what they don't want to hear. Well said post mrref!

Really?? The question came from a newbie who was just looking for an answer.

Isn't the purpose of this thread to be able to ask Adam a question? It doesn't say only ask questions that He may have never addressed!

Don't feel sorry for Adam. I'm sure he is capable of skipping the questions that he feels he doesn't need to address.

Let's not scare off the members who want to participate by saying they can ask a question and then telling them to find the answer for themselves. Remember, we were all new at this once.

No thank you I don't want your stinking change and for your information I've been in this investment 9 years this Dec. and I'm here to tell you that I've done my homework over the years and I became my own professor by doing research, studying and learning on my own, You want to challenge me ask me a question, and thanks for giving me my .02 cents back. For your item # 2 you tell me what i've question and I will be more than glad to respond.

mrref, if you are as truly well versed as you say then why did you not notice that Torbenator is brand new and this is his FIRST post. Certainly there was a time when you were new and not familiar with what has been asked and what hasn't. Adam has said multiple times that he doesn't mind reanswering questions simply for that reason. This is a place where we come to learn and ask questions and we pay for that privilege. This particular thread is addressed to Adam not mrref and is therefore not your concern. How bout skipping the answer to that question in Wednesday's chat since it obviously isn't worth YOUR time and leave others alone. Your attitude is terrible. If you can't play well with others I say grab your toys and leave the playground cuz we don't need that here. ( my applogies to Adam and the mods but people that make me sick)

Intense Googling can't find any information about the jumbo TV screens put up to educate the populace about the RV.
Do know if they have been installed? Could their absence delay an RV?

I have a great attitude, In fact I was just trying to help Adam by telling others to do a little home work and that they will find their answers and Adam would have more time concentrating on projects that he is working on. Thats all I was trying to do. So my apology if I said anything to harm or mislead anyone. GO RV!!!!

For those of us who have deposits with Warka Bank, what are the ramifications for us created by the Iraqi government takeover of the bank. Is this bad news for us, or will we probably come out of it ok, in your opinion?

i will save you the hassle of waiting on a chat that most likey won't happen and if it does, then all he'll do is try and seel you some VIP crap ad so he can answer you there, really???. Anyway, i currently have a warka account and i hate it, but at the time it was my only option. now i'm in the process of opening an account with bank of baghdad. anyway long story short, warka is compared to camel junk, there customer service dept rates 0 to none. so my honest opinion, get the money you have in there and get it else where. BTW i live and work 10 mins away from a warka bank which BTW are always closed.

When will the IQD RV????

As much as everyone here wants this RV to happen, I can tell you this much from someone that’s living and working in the LZ, it’s not going to happen anytime soon which BTW I’m a heavy investor of 50MIL IQD’s. I don’t mean to sound negative but here’s the case at hand. If Iraq’s sole economy runs on Oil money, and just finished passing the largest Budget in history inside the country for 30+ million people, then why would they be worried about putting value to their currency? They seem to be doing just fine, especially with all the construction projects they currently have with toilet paper.
Who’s buying Oil from Iraq?? EVERYONE, Who’s paying Iraq in USD?? EVERYONE that buys their OIL. Do you need a lot of money to run a country with 30+ Million peeps, not really in my opinion… I was born and raised in NYC, with over 8 Million people and the budget for that city alone is just a fraction of what these people here would really use it for. The rest is used to pay the politicians.
Long story short, if Iraq wants to be like DUBAI someday, then it will take decades, so you see, putting value to a currency that really doesn’t need it will be pointless. Everyone here carries USD, and small amounts of IQD, why??? Because they love the USD here. Everyone gets paid in USD here, EVERYONE…..so until some major shift comes about, then these Iraqi’s will be enjoying what they get paid every month, which is USD.

Adam.....currently the dinar is not traded on the Forex, but the speculation and ultimate goal would be that the dinar is traded on the Forex once chapter 7 is released and the Iraqi GOI/CBI revalue the currency. My question is......do you think the dinar will be traded on the Forex immediately upon RVing or will there be an amount of time in between the two events? Thank you

Nobody makes you read Adams Chat, Since you so knowledgeable why even bother others who are not as " knowledgeable " as you the self proclaimed " Professor". But I'm sure you know everything about the Dinar, you probably print your own dinar and it's used by the CBI, I 'm sure your the smartest person about Iraqi dinar and you know everthing, except your an *******, but WE ALL KNOW THAT !!

3. With all the info regarding release of new dinar in September lead you to believe that RV should have happened before that event.
