Barack Obama's 32 Month Report Card

A gallon of regular gasoline the day Obama was inaugurated averaged $1.79 in the U.S. Today, that price is $3.59, a 100.6% increase.

Since Obama took office, the number of food stamp recipients has risen from 31,983,716 to 43,200,878, an increase of 35.1%.

Long term unemployment soared 146.2% during the same 32 month period - from 2,600,000 to 6,400,000. Staggering “hope and change,” isn't it?

The number of Americans living in poverty increased 9.5%, from 39,800,000 to 43,600,000.

The number of unemployed has jumped almost 25%, from 11,616,000 to 14,485,000 as of August 31, 2011.

The number of unemployed blacks has increased from 12.6% at the end of George Bush's term, to 15.8% today - an increase of 25.4%.

Our national debt is up 34.4%, from 10.627 trillion to 14,278 trillion *

Keep the above figures in-mind as we recount some of the “firsts” for this president:

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut in the credit rating of the United States .

First President to violate the War Powers Act.

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico .

I voted for Obama and I am a left liberal.

I agree with all you have said here, except for "coddling" our enemies and first Pres. violating War Powers Act - both untrue. (Reagan, then Bush)

He is a corporate president. I thought I was voting for a humane liberal. Instead I got a conservative business president that sounds like a liberal in speeches.

This arrogant, immature, self-centered man has no sense of honor, or simple decency.

While this posture is disrespectful in any culture, it is not appropriate in any executive setting. Further, in over half of the cultures of the world, it is recognized not only as disrespectful, but as an extreme insult.

He thinks of himself as a king, not as a servant of the people, humbly occupying our White House for his term in office.

Electing him was an enormous mistake and will cost us in many ways, for generations.

"Band together"..., I say it's a grand idea! But, when will liberals come over and support us who believe in the Constitution. Saul Alinsky and his followers who espose marxism have pretty much taken over our government. Liberals need to join US..., not the other way around.

Mojack is very obviously deeply impressed with Mr. O. because he always asks some silly question of any one who speaks negatively about his boy in the big house. But that doesn't change the facts! I personally wanted Mr. Obama to do a good respectful job. I did not vote for him but I hoped he would be a good president. First of all, to pull our country together and help us overcome the economic problems. Secondly, to help overcome some of the critical remarks that were made simply because he was black. I really hoped he could do a stand-up job and never have to pull the race card to defend his poor performance. But now we are going to have a long period of time that any black, regardless of party affiliation or intent will be having to try to convince blacks and whites alike that he will be different than Mr. O. If Obama were not so arrogant and didn't take such obvious joy in tearing constitutional process and by-passing normal procedures by appointing his czars it would be different. His demeanor of being above and better than normal Americans will eventually alienate even his black constituents.Because he hasn't done any good for them either. By the numbers quoted I would say the average black is far worse off with this impostor in the White House. Some of my best friends are black and they have confided to me that this man embarrasses them and they wish he had never gotten elected. He could have been a real uniter but instead he is an igniter of class envy and class hatred. His stated goals during his campaign were to redistribute the wealth and it is being done. But what he is doing is sliding the scale of our living standards downward much like the education system has done with the grad system in our schools. He is wanting to make everybody "middle class" but have the living standard equal to what poverty once was! He hasn't helped the financially challenged by causing others who were once more successful to now be also financially challenged. You can't lift a society up by pushing it down! Read the facts! Its all there for us to see!
