LOL! It's the same this morning. But when I plug in the numbers for the amount it comes out right at 1310:1. My question is more as to why someone has been playing with it. It's been there, the same, for +/- 9 months, ever since the official rate was changed to 1310. Now, without explanation, it's showing this 1,310,000. Someone had to be adjusting rates and then made a typo when putting it back in. Trial and error; or a somebody jumped the gun? Enquiring minds want to know!

I check it several times a week. Friday was the last time and it was normal...1310.00. It's the only one that's off. It's not a system that can be changed without someone doing it, so somebody must have been playing with it!? Anybody else in the community checking it regularly on the CBI website?

Just for everyone's peace of mind, Adam is still very much in touch with what's going on. He's been back on since the sight was down. He also explained once again that he's not actively posting, but still has oversight of DV. He stays updated through all of us MODS and ADMIN should there be a need. Nothing has changed otherwise. We are still in good shape and the plans all remain in place. In the event anything changes, he will let us know. Contrary to opinion of some members, he has a life outside of DV. While there is a lot of news, there really hasn't been that much that has changed. It has been stated more than once that the HCL is the big event we're looking for. Iraq is positioning themselves in many positive ways, but there still hasn't been real progress on the HCL.

Just to think a little outside of the box...I believe it could also be referring to an agreed upon forthcoming revaluation that has been determined and is simply awaiting implementation. JMO.

Currency was devalued due to the invasion to prevent Saddam from becoming wealthier and using the KWD to fund his war. Once the war ended and stability was re-established the value was returned to normal pre-war levels. Technically, you could call it reinstatement if you want to split hairs. But there were still a lot of folks who got filthy rich over it; mostly insiders and PTB's. The end result was still the same. Same thing, basically, with the Deutsche Mark and Japanese Yen post WWII.

I believer it has to have started prior to 1-1-24. It is impossible, or at least highly improbable, that they expect to just turn one off and the other on overnight. We are talking a multi-million dollar cash economy. It would be like trying to turn a jumbo oil tanker at full speed on a dime! The result would be mass-destruction, sunken ship, total chaos! There has to be a length of time where the process begins so that minimal damage occurs. Thus, I'm hearing possibly, highly likely, by dec. 1st. We'll see. Nobody knows for sure!

I did not. And even if I did, I wouldn't advertise it! Just a little heads up, but it's a bit rude to ask folks that question, especially in an open forum. As I understand it, it was more of a reinstatement with a small adjustment for inflationary economic issues caused by the invasion.

Adam had to make a server change which gave more problems than normal. He anticipated just a few days, but it would seem that it became way more complicated than planned. This isn't the 1st time he's done this over the years. Just normally not so long! No worries. He's still here taking good care of business and us! We've been in contact throughout the process!

Yeah. There's probably going to be a lot more of that as they de-dollarize. A lot of people make their living from illegal activity due to the USD exchange.

My wife has a VIP membership. We're trying to get her name reserve finalized into a full IBC. I'm trying to open up her own DV account to keep the confusion down per Julie's advice. However, I've gone through the process several times and I get the "Site Unavailable..." error page. Thoughts? Thanks!
