    So what takes Adam so long to come in and tell us it didn't RV. Personally, I am beginning to believe that if it did RV, then Adam would take a few days to tell us. His no response to "Did it or Did it Not" is not very comfortable. Come on Adam.... why keep us hanging in the wind. Tell us yes or no.

    READ THIS CLOSELY AGAIN WITH NEW EMPHASIS ADDED...

    A redenomination of the Iraqi currency would not lead to a revaluation by the same amount, and may have no effect on the currency’s value. Under a redenomination, a new currency replaces an old currency, but the value of the currency remains the same. On June 21, 2011, the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced that it would be implementing a redenomination of the Iraqi dinar. Under the proposed redenomination, the Iraqi government would issue a new dinar note that will be equivalent to 1000 current dinars. The exchange rate would be 1.17 new dinars to the dollar, equivalent to 1,170 current dinars to the dollar.

    AS I READ THIS, IT MEANS THAT IRAQ WILL ISSUE A 1 DINAR NOTE THAT IS EQUAL TO 1000 DINARS... SO THEN, THE NEW 1 DINAR NOTE WILL EQUAL THE OLD 1000 DINAR NOTE... BUT THAT HAS NO EFFECT ON THE CURRENT CURRENCY'S VALUE...WE WOULD NEED TO HOLD 1000 OF THE NEW NOTES TO EQUAL 1000 USD....

    SO THIS IS HOW IT GOES...

    1 NEW IQD NOTE = 1000 OLD IQD NOTES

    1000 OLD NOTES = APPROX 1 USD

    HENCE, NO CHANGE... BECAUSE WE HOLD OLD NOTES

    THIS = WE ARE SCREWED IF THIS HAPPENS... :angry:

    unfortunate, but I completely understand.... things have been handled very poorly here of late...

    an apology would have gone a very long way to diffuse the situation.... but instead a prideful defense was put up.... big, big mistake....

    sorry adam, but I have to say that you have erred badly in dealing with this situation...

    The fallout was inevitable and highly unfortunate for both you and everyone here...

    Since this is been dealt with the public way I feel that this needs to be said in a public forum....

    Adam,

    This is getting out of hand and I believe that it is your responsibility to address this issue.

    I feel that for the sake of this wonderful site and for your own reputation, you should get out in front of this thing before more damage is done ...

    For the sake of yourself, this forum site, and the VIP & OSI members, I respectfully request that you address this issue head on.

    I have had nothing but the highest respect and appreciation for you as you know, and as such, am appealing to you regarding this situation.

    I truly believe that you are a good man, and I am very thankful and grateful for you. I also believe Scooter is a good man, and as such is worthy of thanks and respect as well.
