  1. You know whats funny? One of my 8 yrs olds got to go along on his first hunting trip this fall and he hates twinkies but he asked me to pack him a big box of 'em in the bottom of his duffel bag for trading purposes. He said everyone wanted one and it worked perfectly! He's bummed no more Twinkies! I swear this kid could sell popcicles to Eskimos!

  3. I hope I don't get arrested for saying it and for the record, I live in westen US, but screw the food police! It may be more work but, I would hand deliver my donations to the hands of the homeless themselves. Some people may not have the time, and it may be dangerous in most of the neighborhoods, or some may be uncomfortable with "getting their hands dirty" but...these people need food! Bottom line! They will dye in the streets if they don't have nourishment. Then what will the mayor do? God help those poor people.
  4. Wow, so what carlos is saying is we should all give up, don't work to keep a roof over our childrens heads, pull them out of school so they know nothing, live off of the government, and don't trust in any God? I have decided what's more important...to persue and persist and trust in God. I will not give up now or ever and hopefully raise children who will not give up either. I don't comment much but this one got me! Sounds like Carlos is throwing in the towel...do nothing...he'll show them! Isn't that attitude what got us in this mess in the first place? Grrrrrr....
  5. Ha! I wasn't going to open this one, I've morphed into a news reader rather than a rumor type reader over the past couple of years...but I did it anyway, darn it!!!! This is comical! Just where does this guy Okie come from? What a nutcase! That's just about the most silly thing...
  6. I'm feeling your pain today, so here are three of my favs that get me by... 1) "A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort" 2) "Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CRAP, SHE'S UP!" And last but in no way the least: The Final Analysis Prayer People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway. Written by Mother Teresa, a very smart lady if you ask me!
  7. Makes my heart sick that this is our worlds reality. Where are our priorities? Its a scary thing to raise kids in these times where their external examples are so wrapped up in such selfishness. Where's the honor and strength of character...leadership? I pray for those soldiers and their families and dear god please walk with those families during these teribble times and carry them if necessary.
  8. Gripe Water worked wonders for one of my boys!
  9. For some reason that makes perfect sense to me, thanks! Now, let me see if I can verbally communicate this to a family member without goofing it up! PS. I appreciate your patience to simplify this. Thank goodness someone else had the guts to ask the question, I was to chicken!
  10. I like this conversation.... Sooooo, the cola example makes sense to me and goes along with a few of the articles that have stated that the two currencies will run concurrent with each other (at least for a while). Right? Am I reading this correctly?
  11. Sighhhhhh.....I "hover" a lot on this sight, but don't say much. I have learned quite a lot over the past 9 months from people much smarter than me so you'd think I'd know better than to read this nonsense. Sighhhhh....an old manager (very wise lady) told me once..."a good description of insanity is doing the same stupid thing over and over again expecting a different result". Am I insane?
  12. Thanks for all of the responses! My mind is much more at ease and I really like the KISS theory, leaves less room for me to really make a mess of things. It's easier to just follow the rules, pay your dues, and leave with a clear conscience. You know though...I've often thought of starting my own religion but I have enough trouble just having my own family follow my crazy ideas! God bless them though usually they still do. Thanks all for the peace of mind.
  13. Good Morning All, I am overwhelmed with all of the advice given about how to cash in! I have read soooo much, maybe to much at this point. We are supposed to go talk to an accountant, start a corporation, open a new bank account at this specific bank or that, don't cash in all at once, do cash in all at once.... I have been reading all sorts of advice, opinions, what to do and what not to do, argggh! Our story is, we bought a few dinar some months ago where we were just going to cash in and run but recently we bought a few more to where our cash in will hopefully be a bit more substantial. We have not bought more than we could stand to lose....we did take that advice, but anyway, our plan was to: Call Dinar Trade once it RV's; Make our appointment with whatever the RV rate is at that moment (lock it in, so no gambling with the rate); Take our VIP certificate and our non interest bearing bank account wire transfer information, and go cash in. Can it be that easy? Are we being naive? Are we going to regret not doing more? I know the Tax Man is going to take, rounding up hopefully, 45%, we're prepared for that. But.... We have not had the time and can't really afford to set up a corporation, we called a few accountants (can't afford them either) and got the "don't invest, too risky" advice. We are not "super traders" and not especially savvy to all of the ins and outs, laws, etc. of big money. At the risk of being bashed for a stupid question... I guess my question would be, really, can it be that easy or am I missing something? Is there something painfully obvious we have missed with the intention of keeping the process simple? Can it work this way?
  14. Ummmmmm, what? Am I not exciting enough? Don"t get the zzzzzzzzz? I also don't want to waist your time and my time to argue, so let's move on. I'm really interrested to hear good news. Anyone?
  15. I'm sorry I messed up. I'm new to the whole "message" thing. But any whooooooo...I'mg gonna say this in stupid, laymans terms but aren't all contries bound to benefit from this? The United States, and I'm a US born and raised girl, the raqui's, the Kurds, The UN, China, etc., etc. I could go on for ever, but certainly , we, the USA out will be out of debt, little people like me are providing jobs for others in the US, and that is what HAS to happen in other contries. Right? Nobody can wait can longer...none of us? Besides bashing, how long do you think we can go before our leaders can pull it togerther and "save tne world"?
