  1. Hyena Snydrome = Persons who look for or imagine weakness in others, arguments, or opinions as an opportunity to use their powerful jaws for carnivorous activity--activity that would otherwise be deemed unkind, disingenuous, and uncivil in face to face encounters but made powerful when performed behind a computer screen.
  2. You are right - thank you! Imagine sitting at the dinner table having these conversations...yikes!
  3. What is worse a liar or someone who threatens (jokes) to crack open someone's skull? Such violence is hard to hear even if you didn't mean it literally. Civility is the first step to meaningful dialogue. We agree on the facts more than you think. However, I was the fool to respond to you personally and not make a general statement. Yet you prove my theory in your response. I had no business correcting you personally...I only know you by your words. I just wish to learn from this site and not be assaulted...I suppose it is I who am offended. There is a proverb that says, "If you correct (try to correct) a mocker they will despise you." This is always true so my making any response to your comment did set me up and make me not only a fool but a "sucker" as you say.
  4. What is it about human nature that makes people such mockers...not helpful. Have you ever heard Okie speak? Doesn't sound like to me he is trying to impress anyone...besides why does it matter if he is..this in an opinion, speculative, best guess site is it not? -- sometimes an entertainment site even. Words give people away whether or not they are subject to mockery, cynicism, and judgment. Being offended so easily disqualifies anyone from offering critique no matter what truth may be in the offended's words....just saying. This response is one of the incriminating posts that continue and are only useful for rallying a mob.
  5. I frequently watch Iraqi TV (albaghdadia) even though I don't understand the language. I can't help but recognize their passion, their dignity, and their hope for a prosperous future. What strides they have made in such a short time impassioned perhaps by the common and costly struggle the nation has come through. Mindsets don't change easily (as demonstrated by the harsh words that somehow easily appear on the pages on this site) and since Iraq is a nation whose struggle for freedom has many similarities to the those of any nation attempting to make true freedom available to all, it is absolutely incredible to see factions of people now working together, having real conversations and learning to find value in each other. It is a miracle really. I respect them for what they are attempting and I feel compassion for them whenever I look at them and wonder what they are saying. I see people who love their families, who dream dreams, and truly want to engage the world as a viable, respectable people. The station I watch shows music videos, nighttime dramas (even showing the ill's of abuse of women), talk shows, kids shows, news hours. I see women in fashionable clothing, women in religious clothing, and even young people who look just like mine I watch it on purpose to not forget that this investment is not about me and my small world but about my part and prayer and support in something that is making history and has the opportunity to change the mindset of an entire people group who have suffered under oppression most of us will never know. Peace to all and thank you for all the hard work many put into their research and postings.
  6. Thank you for the input - I appreciate it. Yes, they do all have security strips.
  7. I just received another set of dinar and I have noticed that each time I receive more dinar there are a lot of variations. For example the security strips are not all in the same place on the notes. The margins are bigger on some notes. The color is darker on some. The embossing is more distinct on some. I am comparing the 25K notes. I call Ali's office today and they said they could be different with each run. Has anyone notices these differences? Should I be concerned? Thank you.
  8. Hello All, First of all I have really appreciated all the time and effort folks put into this forum with news, investment ideas, and help. Thank you. I have read and watched all the info about setting up trusts, off shore corps and foundations and still have one question that never seems to get answered. If we fund a trust/foundation with Dinar or the USD from the RV isn't the IRS notified of the exchange? If so, then how is funding any on/off shore account going to avoid taxes? How does one get $ into those accounts to reduce taxes? Thanks anyone. LF
  9. Or perhaps the Native Americans said, "Where did all these F*X0ing Europeans come from?"
  10. "Kurdish MP apologies to Iraqi people for delays and requests that parliament does not take break for Eid festivities - best comment so far!"
  11. "Kurdish MP apologises to Iraqi people for delays and requests that parliament does not take break for Eid festivities - best comment so far!"
  12. I've been following an Iraqi who is twittering from Iraq and this is his last post from one hour ago. "Never seen parliament so organized and civilized! All emphasizing national unity and representation. Credit goes to Speaker Nujaifi" "Kurdish MP apologises to Iraqi people for delays and requests that parliament does not take break for Eid festivities - best comment so far!"
