  1. I agree, it will happen when it happens and that's the end of it. We sit on it until then, I need this as badly as many, but I just keep plugging away until it happens. Personally, I don't see where Officer151 has anything to complain about, if he can afford to invest and risk 100,000 US as he claims, then he can afford to sit on it. I'm not heavily invested, just enough to be debt free if Med is right about .86 and well off for many years if others are right about 3+. So Officer151, relax sit on your investment, stop complaint about it and let it happen in it's own time, because you seem to be able to afford it far more than most of us.
  2. I see where it states the extention, but where is the info about it being reduced from 1250 dinar to 250? I've heard this repeatedly, but I haven't seen a link for that yet. If someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and let's hope this is at an end.
  3. Just listened to the call and planning to pass on the info for it. Some have said this wasn't anything new or substantial, but that wasn't the purpose of the call, it was to put some ease into the minds of those who are worried this isn't going to happen because of all the disinformation and posts by people like AC. I want to say, these guys are great and they are really the only ones I trust as I've seen too many times these chats and posts say, "we're not saying to go buy, just don't buy more than you can afford" so they are telling you to buy but, in a round about way so they can fall back on, we didn't tell you to buy. The guys on this CC have never once, that I've seen anyway, done this and what they give us for intel has been the most accurate of anyone. Thank you to all the members of this CC, you don't have to do what you do, but it is greatly appreciated!
  4. It does truly make you realize how small some of our problems are, great post!
  5. I know I'm being modded, but I hope this gets posted. I'd like to ask a serious question and I know it's not going to be a popular one, but here goes. I've read time and again that we will have a time limit to turn in the large denominations and that once RVed the rate can only fluctuate by 1% for 90 days. So what is to stop Iraq from lopping the zeros giving 90 days to turn in the large bills, then once ou of the hands of investors like us to raise the rate? I know I've heard "our government wouldn't allow us to invest in this only to get screwed, but the mortgage debacle comes to mind real quick when that's said. Let's face it, if our government could get them at or below what we paid for the dinar and they have agreements in place to hold them for 6 months, they put out a little and make a hell of a lot and Bush's claim of this war paying for itself still holds true. As I said, not going to be a popular question, but I would like to hear theories against this scenario.
  6. I have to be honest, I'm not a religious person, in fact I'm atheist and many of the so called "christians" I've worked for in the past would screw their clients six ways to Sunday and then go to church figuring all was forgiven. I've always believed it's how you live you life and treat others, not what you believe in that makes someone a good or bad person rather than labels or affiliations, but it's great to see someone like Doc and some of the others on here not just looking out for themselves, but in this investment as a hopeful way to help others. That is one of the greatest gifts of humanity I've seen in a long time. High praise Doc and the rest who show that kind of compassion in life. Let's hope this comes to an end soon!
  7. I agree with Legolas, we've heard this all before and it's dangerous to the newbies who are desperate. One thing I find interesting about most of these predictive posts is that they keep saying "I'm no pumper!" "I'm not telling you to go buy more dinar" "Just don't buy more than you can afford!" It's basically saying I'm not telling you to go buy more, but go buy more, just don't over spend in case this doesnt happen! I'd love to buy more, but I don't want to lose more than I've invested already in the event Idaq pulls a fast one. That being said I certainly hope these guys have it at least partially right and that it will go sometime soon. We all just have to keep our heads and stay positive for our own sakes and sanity.
  8. Holy crap that was figgin' halarious, wonder how long before sunglass gets banned LOL

Who's stressing? But really, what info did you see other than there won't be a lop?
  10. Thank you for the compliment, it's nice to know others on here feel as I do. And I have to say, I've wondered myself how long it would take before I was booted from this site do to my posts. So far I haven't been, but I keep waiting lol
  11. When I refer to "boots on the ground" I'm referring to the comment made by devil in which they say that locals in Iraq are claiming an RV on the 23rd and there is no way anyone knows, there are a few people who do put forth effort, but the majority of them are not giving anything but rumors that get a lot of peoples hopes up for nothing. I don't get excited about the info here, I've been reading it too long and I know when it's just more hype. I've watched medics chats contradic themselves over and over, so I don't put a whole lot of stock in his intel anymore, but again these are my opinions like the guys putting these posts out.
  12. Never said anyone makes me read any of these, if you paid attention I said I read them mostly for the entertainment value
  13. I love these "real boots on the ground" intel messages. Even if it was going to happen on the 23rd no one on the ground in Iraq would know anymore than we do. Get over yourself, if the locals knew ahead of time they would be running wild in the streets gearing up to trade in their currency. When it happens, there will be no advanced warning, it will simply appear on the Forex and bank screens and then we, along with everyone else will start to make our arrangements. These so called "guru's" put out NO intel that anyone of us couldn't get our hands on if we chose to take the time. I find it interesting that people including someone I know is foolish enough to pay $180 to be a VIP and they get no more reliable info than the rest of us. I've said it before, someones making money on this deal and it ain't us! For all we know these VIPs and the one buying the books are paying a group of 13 year olds sitting in their parents basements with a computer and a paypal account and feeding us daily horseshit. I want this to go and I could really use it, but it will happen when it happens and no ones going to know when, all we can do is speculate and converse among ourselves about it. My opinion, keep your hopes up, work hard until it happens, and read these posts for a bit of info, but mostly for the entertainment value of "it's coming this week, tomorrow, next week, this month, by the 15th, by the end of the month, sometime in 2010!!!" It's a laugh, it really is! JMO! As the guru's keep saying!
  14. chloe says to (19:26:10): hmmmm didn’t you say it was in the imf hands? Med says to (19:26:30): HMMMM NO I SAID THAT THE IMF HAS IMPLEMENTED A PLAN You know it's funny, but before joining this site, I had a friend sending me the chats via email and I can personally recall at least a half a dozen times when Medic has said that the RV was in the hands of the IMF and they could pull the trigger whenever they wanted. I've also seen Mailman17 say it as well in numerous chats and now Medic denys ever having said that. It's the same as his claim that he's always stuck by the $.86 rate when he mentioned he believed it would be $1.49 in two different chats that were forwarded on to me and then in subsequent chats it was, "I've always stuck by my belief that the rate will be $.86." I remember this because I pointed out the contradictory statements to my friend who was forwarding this on to me. I also agree with an earlier poster who commented on the spelling error, if you've watched Medic's chats they contain numerous grammatical and spelling errors, this begs the question of his ability to "edit" these articles and report on his expertise. There are people making money here as someone said and it's not us. I'm hoping for the RV, but I'm begining to really question if any of these guys actually know anything at all or are they just feeding us a line to keep members paying the VIP fees and buying the "RV Intel" books. JMO! as the "gurus" keep saying!
  15. I agree wholeheartedly, I've been through some very bad times this year and just found out I may be looking at more. I keep my hope up that this will RV will go, but I'm not counting on it. I keep working hard and plugging along to make ends meet, I keep the hope that things will improve either in a re-surgence in the economy or that the RV will actually happen, but if the RV doesn't happen I'm ok with that, I didnt invest a lot, because I didnt have a lot to invest like some, what I hold will pay off my debt at $.86, will buy me a house at $1.49 and will allow me a decent life at $2-3, but I'm not counting on it, just keeping my hope alive. I'm happy I took the chance on this, if it goes I'm rewarded for making a good decision, if it doesn't I've lost about 10 dinners out with my wife, not a big deal! You have to go into an investment prepared to lose, if you don't you will drive yourself nuts thinking about it and the fact is, if you hinged everything on this investment, then you shouldn't have placed your money in it. My father is a prime example, he vested everything in stocks that even I could see were bad choices and he's lost it all, my parents whole retirement is gone from $300,000 to $8,000, he bet it and lost and now all he can do is worry about the future. I made him take a couple hundred and invest in dinar, knowing that if it went he'd get his money back, but if it didn't a couple hundred after a few hundred thousand wasn't going to matter much. I could have talked him into more as I myself could have saved up and bought more, but I only risked what I was prepared to lose! So keep your hope up, work hard until it happens, party if it does, and move forward with your life if it doesn't. Remember the best part, if this goes, you've made it! If it doesn't you were a part of something big and you can't regret not having taken a chance on a better tomorrow!
