  1. Negative??? If I am a millionaire by mid December I see nothing but positive. We have to be patient, think about it for a second, if this happens even this year sometime we will all be smiling. Whether you are wrong or right I'll take it!
  2. Good question & thanks for the post. The verbiage seems to change weekly in all the different news articles & it makes it hard to understand what exactly is happening. I also read that Maliki has to have the cabinet approved by parliament (it said there was over 300 people in parliament), I will look for the link to that article & post it if I can find it. I wonder how we will KNOW if/when he has taken that step? Well I just found this.... lots of "hopes" challenge" & "what if's" but I'm used to that now. "Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki says he hopes to have a new government in place by mid-December. Mr. Maliki commented Saturday, two days after President Jalal Talabani officially asked him to form the government, and complete the challenge of choosing a Cabinet within 30 days. At a Baghdad news conference, Mr. Maliki said he is uncertain what would happen if the cabinet is not formed within the time limit. Earlier this month, Iraq's main political leaders reached a power-sharing deal that ended an eight-month political stalemate that resulted from inconclusive March elections. Former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi's Iraqiya coalition won the most of the seats but was unable to gain enough support from other parties to create a majority coalition. Prime Minister Maliki's coalition, which came in second, gained momentum and support after it partnered with another bloc led by anti-American Shi'ite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. Earlier, former Prime Minister Allawi indicated his coalition might not fully participate in the new government. Mr. Maliki said Saturday that he hoped Iraqiya would take part, but added that government formation would continue even if members of the bloc dropped out. Under the power-sharing deal, Mr. Allawi will head a newly created committee that will oversee national security. Separately, Iraqi officials announced the arrests of 12 suspected militants Saturday, who allegedly had a role in last month's deadly attack on a Christian church. Authorities say 52 people were killed after gunmen burst into the Baghdad church and took more than 100 people hostage. An al-Qaida group - the Islamic State of Iraq - has claimed responsibility. Some information for this report was provided by AFP and Reuters." http://www.voanews.c...-110905674.html
  3. I think this video is positive information & in addition to your Ali video I want to add this link, the woman interviewing is the same as in this Jim Cramer/CNBC clip, this was about a year ago.
  4. I read here that Allawi is in London for his daughters wedding. http://www.khaleejti...middleeast&col= I also read yesterday (I'm sorry I can't remember where but it was a similar article) regarding the security that it IS ramped up for the holiday, they went on to mention public places, touristy spots but I saw no gov or banking places mention. Just trying to keep grounded.
  5. I hear you, luckily my husband is in it with me so he understands. We all just want a better life & who can be blamed for getting excited about that possibility? Hang in there, when this is over we will understand more, be able to look back & see what really mattered in this puzzle. There are thousands of us going through this crazy trip together!
  6. I hope I am giving you the right one, I read soooooo much yesterday. I remember this post though clearly & I think it was the "Heard from zzzzzzzzz - newest of the new" post. Hope I'm right, just too many pages for me to search through to confirm. (Rumors section I believe)
  7. I believe there is only one kind of De La Rue machine. I think you need to call your bank/banks & ask them if they have one at their location or if they have to ship it elsewhere for verification. I personally would not want my Dinars in limbo like that. HTH.
  8. I tried twice & they were both returned??
  9. Are you saying we will only have moments to lock in a rate? I'm sorry I'm a little confuse by what you mean here & I'm going nuts trying to keep up with everything right now! I have my Dinartrade paperwork printed but it would take time to get it notarized and on a Sunday?? (ok breathing now)
  10. It was doing the wait thing for me last night. Now it's doing the error message.
