About Me

When I was a girl, I remember thinking "if I had $100, I would be rich!", and my thought was focused on how much candy I could buy "if" I had that much money.

I have had a good example of an unselfish mother-in-law, which is rare in today's world. She has also invested in dinars with us. Our conversations are often on "what would you do with that much money"? My husband is a similar pea, out of the same pea pod as his mother. Wouldn't it be a joy in life, to be able to financially be able to help those people that truly need it? Not as an enabler, nor rescuer, but to anonymously be able to give hope financially to those that are truly struggling?

Maybe living in a small community , brings more awareness of financial problems people face, and need help with. However, being on the receiving side this year ourselves, when we had a fire, was a very humbling experience. We found out what "community" really means.

I also got my 3 children (all in their 20's) invested in a small amount of dinars for the chance to pay for Grad school themselves without having years of student loans to pay back later.

It's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when", and staying patient while we wait :) exciting times.
