Citibank and standard Chapter should make a difference, but I really hate to hear that HSBC is pulling out. With HSBC holding 70% stake in "Dar Es Salaam" a local bank. I Wonder what impact will this have on Iraq economy or there banking sector?

Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al Saud, the biggest individual shareholder of the bank’s stock. I do believe this is really a good thing; I also believe it will make it easier to transfer money in & out of Iraq.

I’m excited. For the lasttwo years, my stocks buys have been mostly banks, banks, banks. I’m a believer in the banking sector. I’m waiting patiently.

The Central Bank isn’t going to let Warka Bank fail. "(130) 130 branches and (350) ATMs in all parts of Iraq. The Central Bank has developed of three-phase plan to raise banks' capital to 213 million by June 2013". My opinion, We are going to be o.k.
