  3. I wonder if they had to de-contaminate it before they drained it.    If they did'nt then where are they putting this "deliberatly contaminated" water? :D   Was the hazmat team called in? :lmao:      Don't get me wrong....that kid should know better and should be fined or something for it.  Draining it is a different story in my opinion, if a water supply can be deliberatly contaminated that easy and this not being the first time, then I have to blame it on the city for not doing more to protect the publics water.   :shakehead:   :shakehead:

  5. You are so very welcome Maggie123.  Prior to his death, I was approached by a dear friend who suggested I get a biography of my mom and dad.  I am so thankfull that I did!!  At the time I did it I didn't know about his cancer.     Here is the link to Dave divelbiss - A Life of Service       http://davedivelbiss.com/index.html   Thank you for your kind words, Carla
  6. My loving Father  Carl David Divelbiss Carl David "Dave" Divelbiss, (CDR, Supply Corps, USN, Ret.), age 73, passed away of lung cancer on September 28, 2008 at his home in Roslyn, Washington. He retired from the Navy after 22 years of service to his country. While in Vietnam Dave served on the USS Benewah (APB-35) from July 1966 to May 1968 as Supply and Logistics Officer on the Staff of Commander River Assault Flotilla One - Commander River Support Squadron Seven from it's onset on September 1966 to April 1968.  He initiated the planning of supply functions required for the new Mekong Delta Mobile Riverine Force and was the author of the new Navy supply support concept of riverine warfare.  He developed the complete supply support plan and detailed supply procedures for the entire Mobile Riverine Base of 5 ships, 100 boats and almost 4,000 Army and Navy personnel.  Dave leaves behind his devoted wife Fran of 50 years, his son, two daughters and their spouses and five grandchildren.  Dave was a wonderful man and devoted husband, father and grandfather and he will be sorely missed not only by all his family but by his many friends as well.  He often spoke of all who he served with in Vietnam and his hope was to have attended one of the MRFA reunions, which unfortunately did not happen.
  7. If common sense is a form of lying then I am guilty.   This so called bit of dishonesty makes me shake my head, roll over and laugh!!!  If I am reading this correctly this states that people kill people is a lie becouse murders are done by people but suicide is done by the gun???   lol  lol   So if this is ones opinion then where would someone buy a gun that has two little feet and a trigger finger that shoots a suicide victim???     I better be carefull cause my autographed Ichiro bat might just walk over here and hit me in the head!!!   :o I guess i'm dishonest!!!! :confused2:    Oh my!!!   :lmao:       Even the standard line “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” is a distracting bit of dishonesty, since most gun deaths aren’t murders but suicides.     Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/175575-5-things-conservatives-lie-about-shamelessly/#ixzz2yDhjmgX2
