  1. Maybe the Iranian and Turkish are going to start using the dinar because its purchasing power compare to their own currency and because they can't deal with the dollar. Creating a bigger demand for the dinar and raising his value . Go dinar Go supply and demand Go Market value Go purchasing power

  2. This is crazy! They brag about the "high purchasing power of the Iraqi citizen" because the currencies of Iran and Turkey have declined, not because their own money is worth anything. What kind of reasoning is that?

  3. Great article! Thanks for sharing Buti! This seems like the absolute perfect storm brewing right now both of these countries having devalued currencies. If you can't use the dollar then why not use the dinar and drive up the demand and the value! Could Pres Trump have had this card up his sleeve the whole time? I said it a few months ago that, when he took Iraq off the list of countries that were banned from that infamous list, that it meant something significant in my eyes. From now on I am gonna solely focus on the CBI and their activities. Its become so frustrating reading about the GOI and their antics. The CBI is still doing business as usual and making moves no matter what. I feel we are very close! Okay sorry for the long message. GO RV! 😀

  6. We see so much great progress by Iraq only to see them fritter it away on some non issue and bickering. You could tell them they won the lottery and needed to claim in three days and they would want to form a committee to discuss it AFTER a blooming holiday. I know, I know 10YL would have a better response but I'm just an apprentice that fills in for him on day's off pp

  17. Today at 13:30 2018/7/31 10:02:43 AM Parliamentarians and economists and the Iraqi street are expected to sign on September 5, the date of announcing the activation of the law of the National Oil Company, which set 10 percent of the sales of oil to put in special funds for distribution to the Iraqis. To abide by the date stipulated by the law, to restore confidence between the street and the government, especially that the law will give each citizen a share of the oil of his country. The law of the National Oil Company includes a clause that the Executive Authority must implement six months after its approval by the Chamber of Deputies. The law entered into force on 17 April last after it was published in the official newspaper. On 5 March, Which gave each Iraqi resident within the country a share of oil deducted 10 percent of total sales. The MP for the province of Basra, Abdul Salam al-Maliki, the government to «respect the date provided by the law, most citizens are convinced that any law benefit from it financially initiated and not work, which will increase internal tension». Maliki said in a statement that «the law is a national achievement distinctive, and almost the best for the Iraqis since 2003, as will give each Iraqi share of the oil of his country in a fair and clear». He stressed that «the provisions of the law can reduce poverty rates and increase the welfare of the citizen and strengthen the national spirit and the sense of equality for all». "This law does not include Iraqis abroad. Therefore, it will be considered an invitation to the return of our children from the expatriates and immigrants. Our country is poor, but the conditions forced citizens to travel, along with the mismanagement and occupation, and resulting in chaos and corruption that led to unsatisfactory results for the people." As for the conflict of law with other laws, Maliki said: "It will not conflict with any other law such as petrodollars or oil licenses and oil investment agreements with foreign companies, because it is a deduction of 10 percent of the proceeds of selling oil in the United Nations Development Fund for Iraq, The transfer of funds to the Central Bank, which will distribute the amounts in the form of shares on behalf of every citizen ». And the quotas of oil-producing provinces, Maliki said that «the budget and in agreement with the Prime Minister granted provinces producing under the Petrodollar 20% will be devoted to the fulfillment of debts or allocations that have not been implemented during the past years with the actual quota of 5 percent for each barrel product, will be allocated service projects to productive provinces and develop their reality Al-Omrani, Al-Khademi and others. " "The National Oil Company has allocated a fund for generations, and the shares in the national company is not bought or sold because it belongs to the citizen, a law that would achieve economic benefit for the Iraqi people," said a member of the former oil and gas committee. The law required the Kurdistan region to hand over the quantities of oil produced in its fields to the national oil marketing company «Sumo», otherwise they will not be given to the residents of the region ». 20. While this post is a bit idealistic, everything that's happened lately, from Iranian situation, Abadi's not capitulating to them, The corrupt being called out, protests, plenty of news fro the CBI...couldn't be a better situation for Iraq's currency compared to others if they can play the cards they're dealt here. Not saying it will revalue, I'm just saying it could be worth a little more sooner than later in notional value. That's important in the long run.

  34. Is stopping the currency auction something that can be done instantaneously or would it need to be done in a slower fashion? I'm wondering if they are smuggling dollars and it's causing the dinar to drop, then stopping auctions and raising the dinar instantly would diffuse this issue immediately. That's what I hope of course. Go RV!

  35. Report: Trump, Putin, Agree to Push Iran Out of Syria By David Israel - 6 Elul 5778 – August 17, 2018 0 Photo Credit: Courtesy Kremlin.ru Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump at APEC Summit in Da Nang, Vietnam, November 10, 2017 Many were wondering at the time what Presidents Trump and Putin were talking about when they met for two hours behind closed doors in Helsinki last July, raising speculations regarding Trump’s troubles from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of a collusion between the two prior to the 2016 elections. There was a lot of that, as well as a discussion of extending two arms control treaties between the US and Russia. But reports emerging from the White House on Thursday suggest that secret meeting was mostly devoted to Iran’s presence in Syria. Both Reuters and Bloomberg, citing a White House official who insisted on his anonymity, reported the two leaders came to an agreement that Iran must exit Syria. The Russian leader said getting Iran out “would be difficult,” but agreed in principle that it must be accomplished, sooner or later. Since the Helsinki summit with the US president, Russia has continued its cooperation with Iran, along with Turkey, on governing post-civil war Russia, with all three countries carving out strategic portions of the country for their own military use. Which suggests that when the Russian president agreed that Iran should be out of Syria, he meant it should happen some time in the future. On the other hand, the Russians did insist that Iran and its proxy forces pull away some 50 miles from Israel’s border in the Golan Heights. The same anonymous White House official also suggested that when national security adviser John Bolton meets with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev in Geneva next week, Iran’s presence in Syria will take up much of their conversation. Averyanov and Bolton last met on June 27, in Moscow, and, according to TASS, discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries’ security councils – which represented a 180 degree shift in Bolton’s position on Russia and President Putin, whom he previously depicted as an enemy of the US. http://www.jewishpress.com/news/us-news/report-trump-putin-agree-to-push-iran-out-of-syria/2018/08/17/
