  1. 28 June Morning all! Ramadan is over, and so is Eid-al-Fitr. If you've been keeping up with the news section, you'll agree that ISIS is just about over, too. Some are saying they have been crippled to the point that ISIS is barely recognizable as a "force" or "organization" any more. Either way, I think we're at a point where we don't even have to take "ISIS" into serious consideration when speculating on a potential increase in IQD value. We have some big items on the table right now - a vote at the UN, an IMF matter, some Iraqi Parliament meetings that are significant... I think I'd just be clouding the waters if I tried to explain ALL that is on my radar right now, so I'll suffice it to say this: We are at a potential crossroads right now, and it's looking GOOD. I'm monitoring the situation closely, and if any of my key items makes a big splash, I'll do special "extra posts" for them. For now, here's the few weekly Q's: I think that what you are describing is still an in-country RV, with a twist that the in-country part is temporary. If that's what you are asking, then yes - it is possible. I don't think it's likely, but it is possible. Legitimate confirmation from my sources, which include people of the highest level. Will I share them? Nope I believe you are referring to the following: Short answer: It's possible that it's a real test site, but I doubt it. If it's still there in a couple days, then it's just someone screwing around. If it's gone... then we may have had a glimpse of something we weren't supposed to. We will see ========================= I'm back to the weekly updates (at least weekly, the way we're going!), but this is it for this one. Have a great day everyone, and GO RVVVVVV!!!!!!!

  4. THIS really should be in the RUMORS section. I have NO idea who Bruce or the Big Call is, but I can assure you that as entertaining and optimistic as he spins this, THERE ARE NO TIERS! I could not stand to read any more after that. The one recurring comment made that is accurate is: "I DON'T KNOW". A few earlier highlights - rate already at $1.20? (and we had not yet heard of it?) Rate was up to $1.50, making it Reinstatement - er, no - that would need to be more like $3.20+/-. However the rate is going up 3-4X higher... North America is the last to be notified? ROFLMAO I only am leaving this here so that members who have not been here with us for years can read what was typical 5+ years ago!

  5. ISIS ousted from the Old City INTERNATIONAL | Thousands celebrate the completion of a four-month offensive in western Mosul by Mindy Belz IRAQ: Emerging from nearly three years of living under ISIS control, girls in Mosul today donned pink and tiaras instead of black niqabs to celebrate the Muslim holiday of Eid. Thousands poured into the streets of Iraq’s second largest city, as Iraqi forces raised flags above buildings in western Mosul following the ouster of ISIS from the Old City district. Iraqi forces have battled the militants in the city for months, liberating eastern Mosul in January and now completing a nearly four-month offensive to take back the western side of the Tigris River. Vian Dakhil, the Yazidi member of the Iraqi parliament who won the Lantos Human Rights award earlier this year, recounts the horrific atrocities committed by ISIS she and others are learning about as families are liberated in Mosul and elsewhere. The president of Iraq’s Kurdistan region makes the case for independence ahead of the September referendum. And the government in Baghdad unveils a 10-year, $100 billion reconstruction plan.

  8. The Fence Test You can't get any more accurate than this! This is straight forward country thinking. by Jeff Foxworthy Which side of the fence? If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test! If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed. If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat. If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone. If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect. If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. If a Democrat is down-and-out he wonders who is going to take care of him. If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. A Democrat demands that those they don't like be shut down. If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. If a Democrat decides he needs health care, he demands that the rest of us pay for his. If a Republican is unhappy with an election, he grumbles and goes to work the next day. If a Democrat is unhappy with an election, he burns down a Starbucks, throws rocks at cops and takes two-weeks off for therapy.

  16. This is such a feverish blood lust the likes of which every government around the globe should take very, very seriously - instead of referring to ISIS as the " JV TEAM " as that feckless fool, Obama so laughingly stated.

  18. It says approval, It a sectarian issue. Kinda like Kurds not showing up for Parliament meetings, or back here in the USA with Dem's and Rep. Iraq is made up with folks that represent the whole region. ie..Syrians, Sunni, Shiite, Turk's Kurd's and so on. (which you probably know that) Believe that Iraq contains 67 or 68 different tribes...something like that. anyway however they have to get it together to hold this conference, they doing what they got to do, to get it done with all in participation ....

  20. I am with you on this one. 1st Corinthians Chapter 15 Paul the Apostle tells us that there are different glories in Heaven from the Moon to the Sun to the Stars. It stands to reason that there are different depths of Hell also. These people will find themselves sitting next to Satan in the end. And I have to say this stories like this seriously make me want to go to Iraq and join the Iraqi Army and become an," Inglorious Basstard ".

  23. When's ISIS is busy cutting off the heads of their leaders and other ISIS members, pretty sure sign they have conceded, but just not gonna surrender!!! Good, save the Iraq gov't time and trouble dealing with a bunch of sorry arsed jeckles that will be put to death anyway. I find it funny they don't even want to fight much anymore if they are killing their leaders for dragging them into this ally with no exit...

  24. "Tomorrow is the day I look to as the UN Votes. anyone think we will se an RV in the 10 days, and why ?" I think Sunday will be the day, partly because Adam says Sunday (and I couldn't agree more!), partly because everything should be done and/or completed by then, and everyone will be recovered after the celebration, plus it's the beginning of a new work week! Imho..... : )

  27. Exclusive: Map reveals latest developments in Mosul's Old City battle June 28 2017 09:35 PM An updated version of Mosul's map showing the latest developments in the battle to oust ISIS from the Old City in Mosul's right bank has been obtained by The Baghdad Post. The areas in green illustrate the completely regained ones, areas in orange show the areas currently witnessing clashes while the areas in white are still controlled by ISIS terrorist group. Earlier this week, Iraqi military officials said ISIS terror group controls only one percent of Mosul. Security forces, backed by International Coalition air raids and logistic support of the US army, have retaken eastern Mosul and most of its western part after eight months of battles. These forces are focusing now on liberating Old City's districts that are still under ISIS control. It is estimated that there are a few of ISIS terrorists left in the second largest city of Iraq. It is expected that they will desperately defend the last pocket of the city that has been once their main stronghold in Iraq. http://www.thebaghdadpost.com/.....ity-battle 2 days ago :
