The Iraqi flag will be raised, and the last bullet will be fired there by Abadi himself, they added. Few parts in the city are now under the control of ISIS. And they are about to be liberated, the sources further noted. The official yet indicated that if the Old City of Mosul is fully liberated, the whole city will be declared free, for this area is vital for the progress of the ongoing military operation. Also, security expert Ahmed al-Sherifi asserted that the situation is indicative of a near end of the ongoing offensive as the operation to liberate al-Hadar neighborhood is preclude to liberating Tal-Afar which paves the way for declaring the city free of the terrorists within few days. The expert cited the visit of the parliament speaker Selim al-Jabouri on Wednesday to the right bank of the city, saying it asserts the political presence ahead of declaring victory. The Iraqi forces, aided by the US-led coalition, have been pushing against ISIS terrorists in the right bank of Mosul since February 19th http://www.thebaghdadpost.com/.....t-Saturday

  19. Having spent two years in Portland on various projects,(a children's hospital, a veterans hospital, and several processor chip manufacturers), as well as visiting P.I.R. several weekends every year, it is obvious locals there love their Rose Parade. In a display of almost unimaginable ignorance , the city has capitulated to threats from democrats, who, in their own display of almost unimaginable hypocrisy, have decided republicans do not "deserve" their right to free speech. There are millions of people from all over the state that attend the parade, there are thousands of people that spend the entire year planning and building the floats they drive in the parade, and there are vendors have already spent thousands reserving booth space. The lack of any backbone in the city council is breathtaking.... DM Portland cancelled the 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade and Carnival after Antifa, a Communist group, threatened to physically attack the Multnomah County Republicans who were planning to march in the parade. Antifa said they would assemble 200 followers to carry out the threat. Instead of defending citizens’ right to hold a peaceful parade, the city council and mayor canceled the event. This sent a message to Antifa that it is OK to threaten violence if the threat comes from the left. [We can only wonder what the politicians would have done if the threats had come from the Republicans.]

However, the change in troop levels, another sign of the big powers, which Trump was relieved apparently to give his military commanders in making decisions about the battles courtyards, and allow for more rapid increases in troop numbers in the future. The system, known as the level of forces management system has been developed in Iraq and Syria during the rule of President Barack Obama's administration, as a way to gain control of the US military. Obama has lifted restrictions on periods, including allowed to increase the number of troops in Iraq and Syria, with the development of the campaign against Daesh. The number of troops on the ground However, the numbers were not reflect the US commitment on the size of the Earth, since the military leaders were finding ways not usually ideal to circumvent restrictions, including sometimes bringing troops temporarily or hiring more contractors. It is believed that troop levels formally amounting to 5262 in Iraq and 503 in Syria less than two thousand more troops from the actual number of US forces in the two countries. Said Dana White, a spokeswoman for the Pentagon, said Trump awarded Defense Minister Jim Mattis determine troop levels in Iraq and the authority of Syria from now on. He said in a statement published by BuzzFeed News earlier on Wednesday: "We will review to ensure that the numbers that we provide to Congress and the public to reflect realities on the ground carefully. It comes to transparency." Supporters say regime change from within the US military as well, the transfer of decision-making to the Pentagon from the White House authority will allow more flexibility in dealing with sudden developments in the battlefield. Switch forces determine the level of another system may be more important thorny transparency, especially because of political sensitivities in Iraq against US forces.
